[Touch-packages] [Bug 1900105] Re: Arctis 5 Game output no longer works
I found the issue. The CTKI is an idiot who didn't realize System Volume is per device, and not global. Only took me 2 days to find out. I don't think I can close the issue myself, please close it before it wastes somebody's time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to pulseaudio in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1900105 Title: Arctis 5 Game output no longer works Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: The steelseries Arctis 5 headset is a USB device with 2 audio outputs: Game and Chat. In the system sound settings, I can clearly see 2 audio devices: "steelseries-arctis-output-game-common", and "steelseries-arctis-output-chat-common". Unfortunately, no sound comes out of the Game output. This has been working flawlessly up until yesterday (october 15th), a recent update may have caused this issue. No hardware/software changes were performed on my system, other than Ubuntu updates. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1875306] Re: System starts again after shutdown
I added "acpi=force" to my grub boot, no success. I then rolled back my graphics driver from Nvidia prioprietary 440 to Nvidia proprietary 390, and the issue is gone. I don't really understand how the graphics driver is involved in the shutdown process, and if Nvidia is to blame here. I'll let more skilled people decide what to do with this bug report. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875306 Title: System starts again after shutdown Status in systemd package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After issuing a shutdown (either from GUI, shutdown command or systemctl poweroff command), the system will shutdown, and start again after a couple seconds.
