This bug is also affecting me. It was happening before and for some reason it wasn't then. But after I updated to 20.04.2 it started to happen again. I uninstalled Oibaf graphics right now in order to perform extra debugging if not too technical. I think this could be a bug or a a problem with drivers. But theres no proprietary drivers for this machine. The open source Intel drivers are just terrible. I suggest Ubuntu developers include potentiometers to manage color saturation, contrast, brightness and temperature under the "Color" tab on Ubuntu settings pannel. When I go to the color section of the settings pannel it only allows me to chose a color profile but I can't even adjust color settings. I really wish Linux systems be more usable when it comes to work with graphic software in the future. Public bug reported: I was trying to upgrade the system to see new updates on the Ubuntu 16.04. But it couldn't be finished because the operation stopped while upgrading lvm2. So I guess it broke the OS because I can't do the "apt- get upgrade" anymore.
