One of the nicer features of XLIFF in my humble opinion is that you can mask inline elements, ensuring that people cannot tamper with URL's, classes, etc. Example: pSome text with a href=http://www.opera.com;a link/a/p can be represented as sourceSome text with g id=a[1]a link/g/source but in Pootle you'll only get sourceSome text with a link/source This is illegal XLIFF: sourceSome text with html:a href=http://www.opera.com/;a link/html:a/source Currently, the Translate Toolkit, and thus Pootle, does not deal with these inline elements. They will not be displayed, nor will any elements you enter be saved back into translation. Here at Opera we've had to remove the current XLIFF handling to stop it from ever parsing the contents of a string. It's not something I would recommend doing unless you're willing to spend hours of hacking. Buenas, Estoy valorando la opción de utilizar pootle como herramienta de traducciones, y el caso está en que también trabajamos con formato xliff. Aunque cuando se trabaja con ficheros po se puede aplicar tag's html a las traducciones, en el caso de los xliff no almacena los tags, los traduce. No se si hay que activar alguna opción de configuración o similar... también he probado a poner un cdata en el xml del xliff pero al guardar el resultado de la traducción desaparece el cdata y traduce los tags html. Entiendo que este comportamiento es debido a que trabaja con xml y así evita la posible ruptura del formato, pero es una faena... Alguien utiliza pootle con xliff para realizar traducciones con tag's html? como lo ha hecho? Gracias y un saludo.
