Re: [Trisquel-users] "Error 500" when trying to access website
When I force Abrowser version 19.0 over 41.0 (Packages installed during upgrade: abrowser-globalmenu, xul-ext-ubufox) login successful.
Re: [Trisquel-users] "Error 500" when trying to access website
Fails consistently on upgraded 6.01. Consistently successful on 6.01 without upgrades. Upgraded packages (Abrowser version 28.0 to 41.0): libnspr4, libnss3, libnss3-3d. When I try to force earlier versions of these packages, Abrowser is completely removed and has to be reinstalled.
Re: [Trisquel-users] "Error 500" when trying to access website
500 is a vague server error message, maybe the problem is on the other side? Or can you consistently fail on one setup while making it on another at the same time? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_errors#5xx_Server_Error
Re: [Trisquel-users] Why Can't I Use The New Firefox Reader In Abrowser?
"If you use NoScript, you will have to allow scripts from about:reader." Props go to Legimet. Just wanted to add that to this thread.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Trisquel and Ubuntu Phone
Yes, the Openmoko models have a libre bootloader but they don't have a libre modem. And I would love to see those devices succeed.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Trisquel and Ubuntu Phone
I don't know the answer but that is irrelevant because we don't know what the modem is truly doing. On the good site, a good isolation can make the device relatively appropriate. Please, could anyone answer that question?
Re: [Trisquel-users] laptop
Now that I've come to think of it.I think it comes down to computers evolving so fast they've become very advanced and prevalent in our lives before schools have adapted enough for people to be knowledgeable about them - it's a new haven of control not by the majority because the majority don't understand things like, in this case, at all (unlike the wee bits of physics, biology, etc we do get at schools). Aaaheducation. And I'm saying this while less than 100% of the world's human population get proper schooling. The humanity.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Trisquel and Ubuntu Phone
the modem can be used with full free software?
Re: [Trisquel-users] Twister
I haven't used it myself, but I know people who do and they enjoy it. The maintainer of the Linux-libre kernel, Alexandre Oliva, is one of the people using it. Personally I use GNU social (at https://quitter.se/), but I'd love to see Twister and GNU social federate somehow.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Kernel panic, what happened?
Did it happen more than one time ?
Re: [Trisquel-users] Twister
Yes, I use it, I liked it more than gnusocial, but gnusocial has many more users
[Trisquel-users] Re : Kernel panic, what happened?
That is probably caused by a bug in the kernel. But if you cannot reproduce the panic, it is pretty hard to guess where the bug can be.
Re: [Trisquel-users] My GPG/Enigmail is completely broken.
I have duplicated this error, with Enigmail from the trisquel repositories and the mozilla addons. Seahorse also does not opens the generating key window after providing passphrase for generating new key, but the new key has been generated once you close and open the seahorse program again. Gpa has also failed to create a new key, failing with error related to GPGME library
[Trisquel-users] Kernel panic, what happened?
I got a kernel panic, curious if anybody can see what happened. Using latest Trisquel Mini. I wasn't at my computer when it happened so it shouldn't have been very busy. [Trisquel-users] Twister
Hi, Does anyone know Twister? http://twister.net.co/ It looks good to me, but I haven't found it in the Trisquel repository. So, before installing it, I wanted to ask what your opinion is. If it is free software, it'd be nice to find it in the repository. Thanks
