[Trisquel-users] Errors when I update packages
Hello everyone, I'm having a problem when I do "sudo apt-get update". It gives the following errors: W: The repository 'http://mirrors.serverhost.ro/trisquel/packages flidas Release' does not have a Release file. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. Someone could explain what is going on and how to solve it? Also, when I try to install a new program with "sudo apt-get install " I get this: Err:1 http://mirrors.serverhost.ro/trisquel/packages flidas/main amd64 atop amd64 1.26-2build1 404 Not Found E: Failed to fetch http://mirrors.serverhost.ro/trisquel/packages/pool/main/a/atop/atop_1.26-2build1_amd64.deb 404 Not Found E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing? [Trisquel-users] Why do I have a gezakovacs' PPA?

Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done All packages are up to date. I wonder why is that first PPA on my system, I've never added it. I also want to say that I can't delete it with ppa-purge. Someone could explain?
[Trisquel-users] Custom pointer only appears in non-mate programs
Hi, I'm having a problem when I switch the default cursor to a custom cursor. I use the Appearance program to do it and like the title says, the cursor only appears inside non-mate programs. In the other hand, when I'm in a mate-program It shows the default cursor (like the panel manager or Caja). That's all

I think Mate is really nice (both the tea and the desktop enviroment :D). I'm using i3wm right now, It's really simple and fast

I think FOSS is not dying,instead Open Source world has taken incredible momentum. It's really sad that companies like MS are buying influence over Linux world such as Linux Foundation and not supporting FOSS. I haven't seen a MS's program that is under GPL license or a g**gle's one. That's my thought

[Trisquel-users] Disable Orca in Display Manager (LightDM)
Anyone could tell me how to do that? It's really annoying. Please remove the auto start of orca in the next version.

I mean, It's really awesome to have that program but I think that enabling It by default It's not a good idea since the majority of users doesn't have accessibility problems. If you think about it,a person who has accessibility problems and needs to install Trisquel for the first time, she or he has to access the BIOS and that's not accessible at all. In the end, that person will need help from another. My solution is that you should include in the Trisquel installation a checkbox that indicates whether or not activate accessibility features. It's just an opinion, what do you think about it?
