I expect not to sin today.  I don't get up any day expecting to sin.

I am somewhat surprised by your answer.  I thought you had indicated before
that it was ridiculous to think that somebody could believe in Christ and
expect not to sin again.  Your answer here seems to indicate the opposite.
In fact, from your answer it sounds like you believe in the doctrine of
Christian perfection.  Should I just accept your answer that Christians
should not expect to sin in the future, and that it is not ok or normal for
them to sin from time to time?  Is this truly your answer?

Yes.  But I still think we are differing somewhere but I don't know where exactly.

Glenn -  The answer to all the below is no.

If I have misunderstood you, I will apologize.  Please answer the following
questions to help me understand whether or not you justify sin.  Should
Christians expect to sin in the future?  Should they feel that it is ok and
normal if they do happen to sin from time to time?  In other words, should
Christians be encouraged to feel good about themselves if they sin, because
nobody is perfect?  Does God see them just them same whether or not they
sin?

I dont justify sin period, but I do recognize it when I see it.  And I see it in you.  You are not perfect.

 Just look at how Glenn
justifies a little sin in the life of Christians!

 Just look at how Glenn

I don't think a find like this would impact Mariolatry. People can
rationalize just about anything they want to. Just look at how Glenn
justifies a little sin in the life of Christians! Even now, critics are
calculating the probability of how many families might have Joseph as the
father with James and Jesus as brothers. In other words, the attack right
now concerns whether or not the Jesus mentioned is the Jesus of
Christianity. :-)

For those of us who are less inclined to explain away evidence like this, I
think this is a major archaeological find. It adds independent evidence for
the date that Josephus assigns for the date that James was martyred, as well
as independent evidence for the relationship between Joseph, James, and
Jesus. I don't read Aramaic, so I am waiting for the next issue of BAR to
hopefully learn more from the experts concerning the exact Aramaic words
used and their range of meanings.

Peace be with you.

What significance do you think this find has for us as Christians, if
any? I wish it could be proved that this was the actual, physical
brother of Jesus--at least that would put an end to all this Virgin Mary
worship, wouldn't it?
