2011-02-13 Thread Stig Nørgaard Færch

I don't know, but its work checking. I don't know what to suggest, seems
pretty wired.

Ok. Now I got it. It's a DAM bug in relation to TYPO3 4.5.

Re: [TYPO3-english] Grid layout and moving content between columns

2011-02-13 Thread Loek Hilgersom
Thanks guys, for the fast responses, I'll have a look what I can find on this
issue in the bugtracker.

On 02/13/2011 06:06 PM, JoH asenau wrote:

You're right, having been there I should know. Great work, anyhow.

Drag & Drop has been postponed to 4.6.

Would have been a great feature for the LTS version, but well, there will always
be something on the wishlist.

But there is a workaround to speed up the stuff you currently have to do
manually:

Go to the list view and click on the table header of the tt_content table. Then
select the colPos field to be shown in the list.

Now click on the pencil icon left of the column header and you should be able to
change the colPos selectors of each element of this page in one go.

I know, but that's not the kind of thing I can explain to most editors who only
just start using the BE.

Thanks for the input anyway.

Re: [TYPO3-english] TYPO3 4.5 - modification of default core labels

2011-02-13 Thread Andreas Kiessling

I would like to modify some default core labels, mainly of the "pages"

http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/core-documentation/doc_core_inside/4.2.0/view/2/8/#id4218935

or short url: http://goo.gl/GpLAu

unfortunately, doc_core_inside is a bit outdated here (4.2).
->
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['XLLfile']['EXT:lang/locallang_core.php']='typo3conf/llor_test.php';

XLLfile is deprecated since 4.3 and it should read:

$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SYS']['locallangXMLOverride']['EXT:lang/locallang_tca.xml'][]
= 'PATH_TO_YOUR_XML_FILE/locallang_override_tca.xml';

Important: "EXT:lang/locallang_tca.xml" must be the string how the file
is referenced in TCA, so look that up in the configuration module.

-> Create a locallang.xml file with the usual structure and put that
line to your localconf.php or an ext_localconf.php

If you want to override labels in 4.3 or 4.4, please be aware of
http://bugs.typo3.org/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=15942
Though the labels are stored in xml files, they were (some still are)
referenced as php files.

So you probably have to add:
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SYS']['locallangXMLOverride']['EXT:lang/locallang_tca.php'][]
= 'PATH_TO_YOUR_XML_FILE/locallang_override_tca.xml';

[TYPO3-english] EXT ics_awstats: error message with "TYPO3 Crawler"

2011-02-13 Thread Stephan Bernhard

hi list

since a quite long time i get sometimes this error message when i want
to actualise my awStats statistics:

-
AWStats did not find any valid log lines that match your LogFormat
parameter, in the 50th first non commented lines read of your log.
Your log file /home/.../typo3/fileadmin/.awstats-data/xyz-log.txt must
have a bad format or LogFormat parameter setup does not match this format.

Your AWStats LogFormat parameter is: 1
This means each line in your web server log file need to have "combined
log format" like this:
111.22.33.44 - - [10/Jan/2001:02:14:14 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 1234
"http://www.fromserver.com/from.htm"; "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE
5.01; Windows NT 5.0)"

And this is an example of records AWStats found in your log file (the
record number 50 in your log):
217.26.55.4 - [01/Feb/2011:03:33:35 +] "GET /xxx--586.html HTTP/1.1"
200 8012 "-" "TYPO3 crawler"

--

after deleting - manually - all lines in the log that end with "TYPO3
crawler" the actualisation works again.

the developer doesn't know where this comes from:
- crawler?
- the EXT itself?
- an outdated awstats module in the EXT?

so he encouraged me to post this problem here.

does anyone know how i can fix this problem?

thanks in advance for help and hints

Re: [TYPO3-english] Grid layout and moving content between columns

2011-02-13 Thread JoH asenau

Building a new backend layout is extremely simple and straight forward,
kudos Joey!

Actually this was made by the whole T3UXW team - I was just part of it
and the presenter of the video.

But now I need to move a lot of content to new columns, and the only
ways I can find to do this are fairly awkward:
- edit each record, change the value in the selectbox for columns, and save
- or, using the page-module, click the icon of the record and select cut
from the context menu, then click a content record icon in the
destination column and choose paste. but this doesn't work if there
are no records in that column yet!

>

The clipboard should actually be working here, and should automatically
show paste icons when and where appropriate (TemplaVoila has this
already since many years). Is it possible to enable this in the page
module nowadays?

It stil seems to be missing which IMHO is a bug.

In Joey's video [1] he demonstrates drag and drop behaviour, but this
doesn't work here. Is it not implemented yet, or am I missing something?

First of all mm_forum is compatible with caching framework. I had -
dunno why - set the caching framework OFF from default. I`ve set it up
and it works.

It is disabled by default.

Could you please recheck, if mm_forum really silently assumes that it is
enabled?
IIRC it does not have to be globally enabled (read: for the core
caches), but can used by extensions anyway. If so, enabling it globally
to solve the issue sounds a bit weird.

Kind regards
Steffen

I think so too thats a bit weird. But it works perfectly atm. I`ve
inserted few plugins (main board, latest posts) and I don`t see any
problem but I`ll report also later.

Hi List

I have the same problem, and it also started when updating to 4.5

About the caching framework: What exactly was your workaround to make it
work again?

Turn on the caching framework in install tool. It works for me.

Drag'n'drop isn't implemented yet and the missing paste button is a bug
IMO. Please file a bug report if there isn't one already about this
missing paste button.

Re: [TYPO3-english] TV mapping don't shows me tags

2011-02-13 Thread Giuseppe Luigi Punzi
Hi Tobias,

I looked to bugtracker, but I don't find any about this.

Well, It's not so important because I suppose is important to learn to
build the site with TS as Modern Template does, but I think TV save time
doing the mapping fast visually.

Probably TV is not so popular as I thought. I remember in the past, T3
users recommending build the template with TS, better than TV, because
is more easy to maintain, I don't know.

Thanks for the help.
