[TYPO3-english] Multiple domains - Missing Typo3temp images
Hello, Maybe this is a server-problem, and not Typo3... but im stuck with this, so I decided to post this anyway: *SCENARIO: *Typo3 (4.3.1) installation with multiple domains www.mymaindomain.com www.myseconddomain.com * When I try to log in from www.myseconddomain.com/typo3 I get this error: ERROR: File not written to disk! Write permission error in filesystem? I can only log in from www.mymaindomain.com/typo3 * PROBLEM: *When viewing the FE of www.myseconddomain.com from the backend of www.mymaindomain.com I get the adress www.mymaindomain.com/index.php?id=21, and Typo3temp-images are shown correctly. When viewing the same page from the address www.myseconddomain.com/index.php?id=21, no images from Typo3temp are shown. * ADD INFO: *When I try to view the missing Typo3temp image directly www.myseconddomain.com/typo3temp/pics/123kkj444.jpg - image are shown. I have checked my ImageMagick with the Installtool, and everything seems to be ok. [TYPO3-english] crawler: table tx_crawler_process puffed up
hi list in the module web / site crawler / crawling processes you see at the bottom all the pages where all db-entries are shown. but when you check the table tx_crawler_process you see these db-entries marked as deleted. so why would i see those entries at all? i know i can disable this view, but why does crawler not clean it's entries although there is a EXT configuration delete processed items after ... days? Hello, What are the vhost settings for these two domains ? I think the second one is problematic, but comparing the vhost settings can be the right approach towards fixing it... List, It appears the link for the manual for the extension is outdated and links to an old version of the extension. [TYPO3-english] Automatically add accessability icon to external links
Hi, is there somehow a chance to automatically add a class like external-link-new-window to every external link, so that it's not necessary anymore to update every link in RTE manually. Maybe there's a setting in RTE parse func? I can't find any information about it. Thanks a lot. [TYPO3-english] Access plugin content
I have a new module created with kickstarter and I have a plugin that has a
header and a bodytext. I want to access the bodytext, but im not sure how to
do it. so far I've done this:

Anyone that have problem with using tinyrte_mce in typo3 4.5 ? - it is not an upgrade from older typo3 versions When trying to insert a image in the RTE it opens the first windows, but when want to browse, and java error comes and points to an error in backend.php on line 243 - which is empty when I check. [TYPO3-english] Grid system with cells split
Hi, List. After long time of using TV templating system, I decided to give a try to a newly introduced grid system in 4.5. My impression - it is really cool, and I can use it for further projects! The only thing, that I missed: is there any possibility to split the cell in two parts in a grid view editor? And can I define width of a column by percentage? And, of course, TV still has one major benefit - FCEs. [TYPO3-english] Action when changing relations in backend
Hi. I am looking for a possibility to call some method if a user changes related items of a model. The Datamap-Hooks are usually fine for this, but I could not find any way to detect if items where added or removed from a group field to an other table. Has any one done this and could point me to an example or has any other hint? Background is the calendar extension based on extbase[1]. All events are getting indexed to increase performance for recurring events. But the indexing should only be done if it is actually needed. So if you just change the title of an event, indexing is not necessary and should not be done. That's why I check if any critical field was changed at all before reindexing in the processDatamap_afterDatabaseOperations-Hook. But I could not find a clean solution on how to detect if a relation to the exceptions table was updated. The relation is done via the group type and a MM-relation between those tables. I would be grateful for any hints. Christian. But now its fixed. Well, yes, but if page structure is complex (let's imagine some 5 columns, 8 rows and all of them are somehow merged) and it is already used at the website, but later customer wants to have at some content area two columns instead of one - and it may be a pain to make it with merging only and keep all the colPos numbers, that were defined previously. And can I define width of a column by percentage? Yes, sort of. Take the whole page as a grid and merge the columns to get the column ratios you want. Simple example: Start with 3 columns and merge the two right columns to get a layout that would consist of the left column being 1/3 of the page width and the right column being 2/3 of the page width. Hi everybody, there was big day of frustration today. I tried setting up a typo3 site as usual with TemplaVoila on T3 4.5.0. I saw the site and the TSOPs. Everything was great. But then when I tried to implement FCE or other CEs on the site I couldnt see them. I checked the DS xml and found any difference to DS xml on other sites I made. I just copied the working xml in this one. But nothing happened. I graded up to 4.5.1 but again nothing happened. Also in Source Code there is no little peace of mapped elements. Just the main Template Container. Has anybody an idea what the problem could be? Maybe a bug in spite of upgrading? For suggestions or solutions I would be very happy. hi, version 1.5.2 works for me. 1.5.3 of TV sometimes shows up blank BE in Assistent for me. Currently i've no time to check and debug that behaviour. Hi Kay, thanks for answering. Before grading up to version 153, 152 didnt run too in FE. ...other CEs on the site I couldnt see them. I mean I couldnt see them in the FE. In the BE it looks like there is no problem but DS xml.
