Hi Graham,

I don't know what extensions you have looked at, but you could give
Multishop a try.

It's quite easy to install.

In the repository you can find version 2, in the link below the latest
beta of version 3 (a few bugs, but overal much better).

Hi,

I am producing a set of local cycling guides as PDF and GPX files. I
would like to charge a small amount for access to these (~ €5). The
model I had in mind was that payments would be made by Paypal and a
username/password pair would be returned to the customer. This would
allow access (via a FE login) to the pages and associated files. The
files will be secured using the naw_securedl extension.

The bit I am missing is a way to get username/password pairs issued once
a payment has been made. Paypal offers some support for this in that it
will POST payment notification to a designated URL.

I have looked at various e-commerce extensions to TYPO3. No doubt
something there would do the job but I thought it worth asking, first,
whether something simpler might be possible.

Hi Jean-Pierre,

- I have not seen a way to move or delete pages, only to add new pages,
and I don't think teher ever will be any.

- I don't think you can use the filemanager.
- There a several bugs in feeditadvanced, most of them are related to
TemplaVoila.
It always was possible to manage FCE's, but as of te latest versions of
TYPO3 and TemplaVoila, this has become probematic.

The current development version (1.6) fixes a lot of bugs, but still has
some issues.

You can find the SVN here:

Re: [TYPO3-english] No database selected with correct credential

2013-04-05 Thread Xavier Perseguers
Hi,

A few ideas:

- Invalid DB host: is your phpmyadmin running on the very same host as
your TYPO3 website? Meaning you unzipped it inside your TYPO3 website or
is it provided by your web hoster? Perhaps you should not put localhost

- You accidentally activated DBAL (in 'extList') although you don't need
it and somehow the DBAL configuration is wrong

Just in case...

therefore you might enable all debug/error-output like [1]

the other way: write a small php-test programm to connect:

Hello again

Mhm... in the meantime I saw that bmp-files should be allowed by default.
Have you tried the same with another Filetypes like JPG or PNG, does this
work? I also found in the German mailing list archive a thread where
somebody had the same problem with JPGs. In this case the setting
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['fileDenyPattern'] = 0 was set. Since I don't know
your setup, it's probably worth to check this parameter as well?

Hi Francesc

Have you tried to clear the cache? Like for all configuration changes you
will have to clear at least the TYPO3 configuration cache. You will find
this option in the Backend (small lightning bolt icon in the upper right
corner, next to the logout button).

Hello everybody:

I need to upload bmp files to a typo3 platform.
When I try to upload a bmp file an error appears:

File extension 'bmp' not allowed. (tt_content:309:image)

I have tried to update the
[imagefile_ext] adding bmp type.
If I check install again the [imagefile_ext]section is not changed. If I
open localconf.php the new extension has been added..
But when I upload a bmp image the error appears again.
Anyone knows how can I solve this?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Francesc

 I have added the line $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['fileDenyPattern'] = 0 to
 localconf.php.

Oh sorry, this was a misunderstanding! My intension was that you'll should
check _if_ this parameter is set this way, not to set it like this. Since
setting it this way, it was one possible reason for other people struggling
with the same problem like you

Please check the docu and I would recommend to remove the setting again:
http://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/SecurityGuide/GuidelinesIntegrators/GlobalTypo3Options/Index.html#filedenypattern

I can't upload bmp files yet.

As mentioned already, bmps are allowed by default as well. I do not know how
TYPO3 is checking the filetype (I guess by Mimetype?) but have tried another
BMP (probably also generated by another image editor)? Maybe the file is
corrupt somehow?

Sorry, no more ideas at the moment :-/

Andre

[TYPO3-english] XLIFF replacement for llxmltranslate

2013-04-05 Thread Markus Klein
Hello!

I’ve question for best practise with XLIFF.

My current workflow is to have only the English labels in the extension’s XML
file.

All translations are stored in the related XML files in /typo3conf/l10n/, in
order to be able to use llxmltranslate for managing them.

I’d now like to finally convert all language files to XLIFF (with extdeveval I
guess?).

Which extension/tool can be used to manage the translations.

It should have similar features like llxmltranslate.

Furthermore the extension is not public, hence Pootle is not an option I guess.

Thanks for help.

Kind regards

Markus

Yes

Having a look at
http://forge.typo3.org/projects/extension-llxmltranslate/repository/revisions
I see absolutely no changeset to support XLIFF and I see no feature
request either :-(

Unfortunately I'm not aware of something similar to llxmltranslate. You
may work with Virtaal but it's not really handy with TYPO3 to be honest.

Best would be to enhance llxmltranslate I guess. Don't know why it was
not suggested/implemented already. I fear we only start having people
really upgrading to latest version and think about switching to XLIFF.

Furthermore the extension is not public, hence Pootle is not an option I

No, at least not the official from TYPO3. Personally I configured my own
Pootle instance, similar to the official one for my private extensions
and hooked into EM to let me fetch l10n packages from my own server. It
won't help you but at least you have an idea of what others may have done.

Kind regards

[TYPO3-english] New TYPO3 language

2013-04-05 Thread Jan Bednarik

Hi,

I need to add mongolian language to a TYPO3 website. Since there is no
support for it, then when I set mn as config language, extensions
(e.g. indexed search) will be in english. That is fine so far.

However, I'd like to give administrators the ability to translate
whatever they like using llxmltranslate extension. So I wonder whether
it's possible to add this language to the list of languages so it'd be
then picked by any extension when translated.

Thanks
