Blue, red and green are ok. Orange is too close to the color of the
ruler. The yellow is just too bright, it makes it harder to see handle
and blades as one and distinct from the ruler.

The black on the wiki has the advantage of maximizing contrast while
being classy and calm. Dark brown may work similarly well.

I like the black version that is in the wiki.

It's a bit on the edge between looking like a different colored material
and the variations that you get with metal. Well, try it ;)

The second version (L shape, black handles) it's based on the current icon
from the Human theme.
I'll make different colors as Cory suggested, if I have the time.

I made it like this based on the scissors that I have here on my desktop :)
Should I make it lighter?

I'll add this later.

Yes. I'll see how they look if emphasised the marks. If I don't like it, I
get rid of them.

Hi!

I much prefer the second version. Black handles are better and look
classic. The L shape helps to avoid the problematic negative spaces you
have with the triangle. Those make the first design harder to read in
smaller sizes. Or maybe it's just the strong diagonal falling line that
bothers me.

The upper blade seems to be darker.

I would expect a tiny shadow cast by the upper blade on the lower blade
(only large version).

The marks on smaller sizes need to be emphasised (48 and 32, 22 and 16
are maybe better off without).

I like the tilt on the second pair of sissors personally. How about some
color variations sent here? No need to post to the wiki also.

I like, but maybe an orange handle for the scissors instead of black? I like
the black pair better, btw. :)
