I would like to propose Silicon for Dapper inclusion. I feel that is complete and consistent, and will have a broad user base (roughly the ones that use the silver theme in Windows XP). Also, it is quite different in feel from the warm stock Human theme.

Is the wallpaper supposed to have the grainy, low quality effect in certain places? That's my only issue. I'm not good at making wallpapers so I don't know what else to say except it is something I could never stand to use on my desktop. I say that is a constructive way. If you need a screenie or futher explaination, say so.

Billy

Yes - the grainy effect is intentional. Graphite and silicon textures has this powderlike dryness to it, while still having a few reflections - if you know what I mean. I tried to copy that, but it proved to be extremely hard.
I might try to tweak it, when I have some play-time again...Thanks for the feedback!Cheers,MikkelPS: What screen-res are you using? - And is at a lap- or desktop computer?

Like the wallpaper in the metatheme addition. Didn't know we could do that.Look at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtworkTeam/ThemingTricks. I'm sure you can chip in with a few words of wisdom on that page - your theme-fu is better than mine ;-P
As I've said before, I think this should be one of the three community themes. I'd only suggest darkening the progressbar, and lightening the range trough, so that the color is more consistent. Great job! Although, I have never understood square windows with round themes.
I'll look into fine tuning these colors to see if I can make it better. About the square windows; I was using the rounded one to start with, but somehow they just felt wrong. No deep philosophy - it just didn't feel right (to me).
On a side, I find it interesting that you note the slownesss of other metacity themes, while submitting a slow theme that is
99.99(% based on one you said was slow. I'm sure there was a
logical reason for it though, so there's no reason to discuss it here, I guess.I am very aware of this. The really short story is that I figured Human set the bar for acceptable speed - but we still need lighter themes, don't get me wrong. And still - it is a skajillion times faster than a pixmap theme on my box. Anyways, feel free to mock me about double-standards ;-P
