Re: [ubuntu-art] Anyone else notice the default theme has appeared in hardy alpha?

I have now included both a human-murrine and a human-clearlooks for testing, the murrine version is set as default now and we'll swap that out in a bit. The reasoning behind including both of these is that today is the UIFreeze after which I cannot go in a new direction as far as UI elements go. Including both now allows us to still try things out without breaking the freeze. I'd still like to tweak both of those gtkrc's (the clearlooks still has a blue tooltip, etc.) I'll post a list of things which need to be done in a bit so that we can see where we are and where we need to be. -- Ken -- ubuntu-art mailing list ubuntu-art@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art

I will say that one place where this is an improvement is in Firefox on light colored backgrounds. The previous theme showed a bit of gray around the corners of the buttons. However, this one also takes a step backwards in FF because when the buttons are on colored backgrounds instead of just a bit of color in the corner there's a white box around the whole button. http://code.bearfruit.org/~matt/tmp/widgit-probs.png -- Matthew Nuzum newz2000 on freenode -- ubuntu-art mailing list ubuntu-art@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art
