Smartphone

2008-05-19 Thread Scott McKean
Hi All,

I need to purchase a new smartphone as my previous one was stolen. I was
using a Palm Treo 650 and it was syncing contacts, tasks, calendar
nicely to my Ubuntu (gutsy) workstation with evolution and the gpilot
conduit.

I would like to be able to use the phone on the road for internet
connectivity (preferably NextG, or 3G) with my Hardy notebook, via
bluetooth.

I have looked into the Palm Treo 750 and the Blackberry but neither seem
to be very easy to sync with Evolution (require running a virtual
machine and using an online service as well).

If anybody could point me in the right direction it would be much
appreciated,

Thanks in advance,

Sorry Dave, I didn't read your initial question properly.

What you need to do is set a different page style for the first page.
Click anywhere on page 1, then from the menu select Format > "Styles and
Formatting" (or a quick shortcut is press F11) and select "First Page"

Cheers

Thanks Mark,

I obviously didn't explain myself very well.

My problem is that I want to stop the header from printing on page 1.

OO spreadsheet . . . .

Please tell me how to suppress a header/footer on a selected page?

Dave W

In OO Spreadsheet menus select "Format" then "Page" then click the tab
for either "Header" or "Footer". Clear the tick from the box for "Header
on" and "Footer on".

Cheers
