I agree that if Jarod is willing to take on the task and isn't being
pressured at all, then by all means I vote Yes

Re: Jared Norris Nominated as Contact

2011-02-22 Thread Joel Pickett
Makes sense to pass over the leader to Jared. He did an excellent job with
ubuntu-evangelism at the LCA2011 open stand. I wasn't there but organising
such an event doesn't just take a grain of salt. Although I haven't
particularly been active within ubuntu-au, I believe that Jared is a
superb candidate to take over as team leader of the -au team.

2011-02-18 Thread Rob Dawson
I don't involve myself in any of the team events or discussions but I
read this list with interest (and occasionally contribute to a topic),
and from my 'outside' perspective it would appear to me that Jared does
a very good job in helping to co-ordinate anything he is involved with.
He would seem an excellent choice in my opinion.

Re: Jared Norris Nominated as Contact

2011-02-18 Thread Ash

Hello to all

Many thanks to the rest of the team including Melissa - I would just
like to add my support for
Jarred as he is doing a great job and must apologise myself for not
being more active but do have some health issues at the moment...

Good Luck Jarred and all the best for you Melissa for both your future
endeavours.

Regards Ashley
