totem 1.2.1 question.

2005-12-12 Thread matt nicholson
was looking into backporting it. defaults to xine backend. should 2
versions be built with xine/gstreamer enabled? what would the easiest
way to do that be (other than a completely manual ./configure, compile,
and package build).

thanks.

Re: question

2005-11-25 Thread Marc Wiriadisastra
Is there a list of packages that are approved or is it just from the
forums?

Also is there a way of marking them as approved then approved then done?

I'm just trying to think of ways to make it a bit more streamlined?

question

2005-11-22 Thread Marc Wiriadisastra
I have a couple of questions.

that ubp-build.py I remember someone saying it was updated however I
can't find that link can someone point it to me.

Also on another point trac-0.9 has been requested it builds fine.
However installation.

trac depends on subversion (= 1.0.1); however:
  Package subversion is not installed.
dpkg: error processing trac (--install):

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/packages/trac$ sudo apt-cache show python-clearsilver
python2.4-subversion
Package: python-clearsilver

Installed-Size: 36
Maintainer: Jesus Climent [EMAIL PROTECTED]

however as you can python-clearsilver seems to be the culprit. Should
that be backported as well? I'm not sure whether backports wants to go
down that path.

Marc

That's normal, it just means some dependencies for it are not installed... dpkg does NOT do dependency resolution. Run apt-get -f install to fix that.

No, it doesn't need to be backported. Only version 0.9.3 is needed, and the last time I checked 13 is bigger than 3.
