আমার কুবুন্তুতে এই সমস্যা হয়। শুধু ক্রোম চালু থাকা অবস্থায় বন্ধ করলেও
এই সমস্যা হয় । আমার ক্রোম লেটেস্ট । কুবুন্তুতে ফায়ারফক্স ম্যানুয়্যালি
ইনস্টল করতে হয় তাই এখনও ওটা ইনস্টল করিনি । এখন কি করি ?

[Ubuntu-BD] grub recover

Hello, i use dual boot with
windows 7 and ubuntu
10.04. Yesterday i
reinstalled windows 7.
Then i tried to recover
 grub list which
allow me selecting an os
from a list. But after trying
to do it by ubuntu live
dvd. But no result. Now
how can I recover grub?
Pls tell me.

[Ubuntu-BD] Problem with Open office

ওয়েব পেজ থেকে টেক্সট ও ইমেজ একই সাথে কপি করে এনে ওপেন অফিস ওয়ার্ডে
পেস্ট করলে শুধু টেক্সটই দেখা যাচ্ছে। ইমেজ এর স্থানে শুধুমাত্র কয়েকটা
লিংক এবং চারকোনা ঘর দেখাচ্ছে। কিভাবে (MS WORD এর মত) সরাসরি ইমেজ পেস্ট
করা যাবে দয়া করে কেউ জানাবেন।

Hello, you can install them os's in one hard disc. Install windows 7
at first. Then ubuntu and other linux os's. Sometimes installin
windows 7 after linux, makes grab faulty. So i think, at first windows
and then others can be installed. This is How far i know. I am also a
new linux user.
Another thing, It will be better, if you send different query in

আমি গুগল ক্রোম চালাই। এর স্পীড বাড়ানোর কোন পদ্ধতি আছে? আরেকটা কথা, আমি
আজও উবুন্তুর জন্য কোন ডাউনলোড ম্যানেজার স্থির করতে পারলাম না। Wget
ইনস্টল করেছি। কিন্তু এটাতে ব্রাউজারের চেয়েও স্পীড কম মনে হয়! এটা
অটোমেটিক ডাউনলোড নিচ্ছেনা। আচ্ছা, উবুন্তুতে সবচেয়ে ভাল ডাউনলোড
ম্যানেজার কোনটি?

ভাইয়া, উত্তর দেয়ার জন্য ধন্যবাদ। এই সফটওয়্যারটা ইনস্টল করতে কত
মেগাবাইট ডাটা লাগতে পারে? আমার আর মাত্র ৫০ মেগাবাইট বাকী আছে। আমি
গ্রামীণফোনের P6 (1GB/1MONTH) ব্যাবহার করি।

Hello Ring vaia, Thanks for the reply. But, is there any alternative
phone connectivity software for linux? I installed "wammu" but that
was not satisfactory. Would you please suggest a software?

Thanks Ring vaia. Ovi gives more than email. I have already backed up
my contacts! I like ovi's service. I also used ovi to mail at ubuntu
bd mailing list. But many times i had to be informed that my mails
don't go to the right way. So i am now from gmail. I think now my mail
procedure is ok. Isn't it? However, nokia ovi suite gives advantage of
Synchronise the contacts, photos, videos, messages musics etc, between
phone and computer. So i wish if there is a linux version of this
software! But i think here is many linux experts and software
engineers in this list. So you can make such a software for us..
