Sorry but that again can be circumvented but then you have to use a
contact to take the remains to yet another containerpark.
It's actually like this, you can collect materials from it for
yourselve, but you cannot test and bring back if it doesn't work, but
when you ask an uncle to do it for you, you can easily circumvent it.

Ok, I pulled the existing translations from Rosetta and updated the
test site. After a quick look I there is some missing caps. Anyone
wanting to help can test the site in different language.

Also, I need people registering using name with special chars (é, ï,
%, á, ú, etc.) and having problems (cannot register, name displayed
wrong after registration, mail not send, etc.).

Hi,

A smal status report on the supporters map...

Most reported bugs have been fixed or fixes are in progress, see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/support.points.map/+bugs

There is one bug for which I needs more info. It looks like someone
triggered an internalization bug when registering. But on my side, I
can register under the name "Iñtërnâtiônàlizætiøn" without any
trouble. It clearly needs more testing but I don't really know where
to look.

I got the latest template uploaded on launchpad (it seems that I
triggered a bug), there is 90 new strings to translate. Tonight, I
should put the already ~160 translated strings into the bzr repository
and deploy them on the beta site.

As usual, bug reports are welcome.

What king of resources do you need on servers ?

2007/4/4, Bram Biesbrouck <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

Hi all,

As some of you know, I've been involved in open-source videohelpdesking
(Captorials and ScreenKast). Due to a lot of factors, mainly
money-related,
I've been forced to retract my two servers from the datacentre of my main
sponsor (E-Bo Enterprises, which I'm still grateful for the delivered
service).

However, a webservice can't be in the air without servers, so this means
the
captorials project is (temporarily) dead. Since my interest in
videohelpdesking is kicking in again, and I'm making some (very little)
money
with endless side-projects, I'd like to re-introduce videohelpdesking into
the community, but this time, not alone, but with some fellow interested
people.

Here's the concept: find some people who think alike and have access to
some
resources (servers, datacentre-space, dev-skills, influence in some
soft-companies, etc) to spare. The idea would be rethink the whole
project,
using all the software already written (by me), but this time, completely
open-source; server, client, webservice. This is the *idealogical* idea.
Perhaps I'll have to compromise here and there, but I feel the interest
from
inside the community for videohelpdesking is still there, so perhaps some
people feel like joining this project.

Please respond to this mail if you think you have some interesting
ideas...

[Ubuntu-be] map.ubuntu-be.org/nl temporarily running from backup

2007-04-04 Thread Mark Van den Borre
Hi all,

Today as so many times before, I was manually updating nl
ubuntu-be.org map data. I made a mistake and had to restore from a
backup. Backups are made every night, but I don't have access to them
right here right now.

The latest backup I have access to right here right now is a bit more
than a month old, with 15 new nl support points added in that time
frame. So don't panick if you're nl and have recently subscribed. You
will be back on the map, but it may take a few hours or maybe even
days.

Sincerely,

Mark
