Furthermore hit the 'Routes' button and select the 'Use connection for resources only on this resource' checkbox. Furthermore set up a route for the VPN. Once connected to the network, attempts to resolve names on the network failed. The same configuration without the above settings works to resolve names, however all network traffic is funneled through the VPN. If names are resolved using the command line utility dig and specifiying the DNS server, it works as expected. [Bug 1338174] [NEW] Update manager unavailable to second user in multiple user scenario
Public bug reported: Describe what happened: I have a system with two users (bob and alice) granted administrator privileges. Both users are typically logged in, using 'switch user' to change between them. The update manager will indicate to user bob that updates are available, but bob ignores the dialog. When alice switches to her desktop, there is an active app on the unity bar for 'Software Updater'. The shortcut is not responsive to clicking or middle- clicking. I found a solution to this bug, please see my post here: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=49t=170425 In short, you need to enable the UVC_QUIRK_PROBE_DEF quirk by following these steps: 1. Unplug your webcam 2. Unload the uvcvideo module (sudo rmmod uvcvideo) 3. Reload the module with the quirks parameter set to 0x100 (sudo modprobe uvcvideo quirks=0x100) 4. [Bug 1329479] [NEW] cyrus-admin-2.4 doesn't need to depend on cyrus-common
Public bug reported: The cyrus-admin-2.4 package only contains the cyradm, sieveshell, and installsieve scripts, and their associated documentation. These utilities are for remote administration/interaction with a Cyrus IMAP or Sieve server, and really only need to depend on libcyrus-imap-perl24. cyrus-common includes only things needed for running a Cyrus server. [Bug 1277865] Re: Cannot install Ubuntu 14.04 on EFI hardware
supergrub makes no sense - the efi partition was missing. Didn't set one up because I thought I'm using legacy mode.
