Not yet. Do it, for both the courses page and the press releases page!

Have a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BelgianTeam/Education/NL/Courses .

Not perfect, but it's a starting point.

Re: [Ubuntu-be] Agenda of Ubuntu events and conferences

2007-05-18 Thread Cedric Janssens
I know some people disagree using of Google/Gmail and his friends, but
The agenda tool of Google is really a great tool :

Could import data from several other tools
Provide a RSS and a ICS output for synchro
Is Free (like Free Beer)
Can be shared.
Could be displayed on a website.
Could have several administrators.

Regards
Cedric

Re: [Ubuntu-be] Agenda of Ubuntu events and conferences

2007-05-18 Thread Bert Mariën
Hi,

Personally I think this is a great idea.
I have been looking for events regarding Ubuntu myself, but they seem to
be rather difficult to find.

So, I think this will respond to a need.

Bert.

[Ubuntu-be] Agenda of Ubuntu events and conferences

2007-05-18 Thread Lionel Dricot
Hello,

I receive more and more emails asking for Ubuntu formations/lessons. I
think we need a centralised ressource for
lessons/formations/conferences.

I thought that we can do 2 things :

- one agenda, exactly like this one : http://agenda.mouvements.be/
We can put in the agenda all the formations, conferences but also all
events so people can search events by place and also by intended
audience. (FOSDEM is not for my grand-ma).

With the Agenda, someone can say : "I will organise a 10 lessons course
to initiate people at Ubuntu. Registration required (external link)" and
people can attend if they want.

- Another things that might be good would be a lit of people that agree
to give personnal lesson (for money if they want. I personnaly don't do
this for free) and their geographical location.

I'm not sure about my solution but, regarding mails I receive, there is
a need here.

What do you think ?

Lionel
