[Bug 381448] Re: evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_mutex_lock()
Ok let's wait to happens again then, without a backtrace there's not too much we can do either, it would help to post a few steps in order to reproduce the issue but you said that it only happens when you login, which works fine here and not a lot of people seems to have the same issue, it could be that evolution-data-server is crashing for example, but anyways let's wait for it to happens again. thanks marco. -- evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_mutex_lock() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381448 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 384505] Re: More persistent calendar reminders
Here is the basis of my query on whether Ubuntu changes default behaviour: Also, I have found that when the alarm notifier shows up in the notification area, it is VERY easy to accidentally dismiss the alarm. You must left-click in order for the Appointments window to pop up. If you accidentally right-click (as I often do), the alarm basically turns off for that event forever (unless you manually set the alarm to repeat). I would like to be able to disable the right-click behavior and I'd also like for the Appointments window to pop up by itself, without me having to left-click the notification icon. Using SVN trunk on openSUSE-11.0 - all my reminders pop up as windows, by default. I'm not aware of reminders in the notification area. (Ubuntu specific patch probably?) Here is the link to the thread: http://www.nabble.com/forum/ViewPost.jtp?post=18317635framed=y It sounds like OpenSUSE has the behavior I am looking for in Ubuntu. Since SUSE and Evolution are both Novell creations, it seems that SUSE's behaviour should be the default upstream behavior? -- More persistent calendar reminders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384505 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 385626] Re: eog crashes when I open an image
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash- file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: eog (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- eog crashes when I open an image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/385626 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 385584] Re: gedit not printing more than single page
Well, although the print preview shows just one page, on turning to the second page, nothing shows up. According to the top panel of the print preview window, the display should be showing the second page of the document, but it remains as if there was no document open. Besides this, if i try to print anything more than a single page document, it just prints a single page. I did reinstall gedit and cups, but it doesnt seem to make a difference. The print preview is working fine for other applications. For example, if I try to print a multipage document from mozilla, it lets me preview multiple pages and also print them normally. Only in gedit does the print preview fail. [Bug 384505] Re: More persistent calendar reminders
I just found this on Ubuntu Forums from Sept. 23, 2008: To anyone else who wants to make Evolution just pop up the alert dialog with the snooze button directly instead of a tray alert, here's the fix: 1) ALT+F2 for a run dialog, and type 'gconf-editor' 2) navigate to apps/evolution/calendar/notify 3) de-select the 'notify_with_tray' entry. Link: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=5841961postcount=9 Given that SUSE apparently does this by default, does this indicate that Ubuntu changes upstream behavior to notify_with_tray? If this indeed works (I still must test as I am running Ubuntu 9.04 and things may have changed since Sept 23, 2008), it will only leave the behavior of automatically dismissing reminders as a problem. -- More persistent calendar reminders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384505 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 385643] Re: crashes on page containing Flash
[Bug 268502] Re: Bluetooth doesn't work (hci_cmd_task: hci0 command tx timeout)
For some dongles (as my D-Link DBT-122), there little or no kernel problem, but a Bluez problem. This is what I did concretely: — display http://http.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/b/bluez/ — click libbluetooth3_4.40-2_i386.deb and simply accept installation by GDebi — idem with bluez_4.40-2_i386.deb and bluetooth_4.40-2_all.deb. (Others may have to make an other choice than i386.) With Bluez 4.40, my problem was solved (after nearly eight months regression!) It would be interesting that other people test Bluez 4.40 with the Broadcom or other dongles. It would be interesting to make this test with kernels 2.6.27 or 2.6.28. I installed 2.6.29 (with no improvement) before I heard of Bluez 4.40. -- Bluetooth doesn't work (hci_cmd_task: hci0 command tx timeout) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/268502 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
