[Bug 659686] Re: transmission works very slowly in 10.10
I have the same problem as RedSingularity. The interface seem extremely sluggish. Clicking, selecting, scrolling; it's all slow with a delay, even the menus. Some info: - I upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10 (I had no problem with transmission on 10.04) - I tried updating from their ppa to version 2.10. Still no improvement. - I don't have proprietary driver installed (They don't support my card - 310M) - No other apps have this sluggish behavior - Maverick has frozen on my twice yesterday (upgrade 2 days ago). Both times transmission was open. Didn't open transmission today and no freezes. [Bug 651678] Re: anjuta crashes with assertion failure on startup
I am experiencing this too with Inkscape on Kubuntu Maverick, having a nonstandard icon theme. If I change the gtk theme to something different from QtCurve or if I set the icon theme to Oxygen everything works ok. The only combination which doesn't work for me is QtCurve+Faenza Icon theme. Got almost exactly the same backtrace as Benjamin Wohlwend. [Bug 659681] [NEW] Suspend/Resume doesn't work after upgrade to 10.10
Public bug reported: I just upgraded to Ubuntu 10.10 from 10.04. Among many other things that it broke, the most annoying one was suspend/resume. The laptop (Sony VIAO VGN-SR53GF) doesn't resume from suspend. The disk LED does constantly light, but nothing comes back on screen. It used to work perfectly prior to the upgrade. I have to do a hard boot to bring the system up. Other things that broke were: 1. VMWare Player 3.1 stopped working (it was not able to re-compile the necessary components as needed due to kernel upgrade) 2. Texlive broke.
