[Bug 682350] [NEW] Special characters in notes = unexpected behavior with links
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tomboy Using Tomboy 1.4.2 (but behaviour also present in previous releases) on Ubuntu 10.10 32bit. When a note contains a special character (such as ( ), etc), links in other notes become unlinked when text is added after the link. To reproduce: 1. create a new note, name it: new note 1 2. create another note, new note 2, and in the body write new note 1 . The link to the first note appears, as expected. However, 3. still in new note 2, write something on the same line, after the entered text: the link disappears. ** Affects: tomboy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Special characters in notes = unexpected behavior with links https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/682350 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thank you for helping with making Ubuntu and Ubuntu One better by reporting this bug. I can confirm this bug on an up-to-date version of Ubuntu Natty. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner.
