@Amanda, I don't think anyone was implying that we shouldn't show the EULA. [Bug 692568] [NEW] Printer shouldn't be paused after backend failed
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cups When printing fails for some reason (backend failed message), printer is paused, and won't resume automatically, even after a reboot. [Bug 294648] Re: svn over https with client certificates broken (regression in intrepid)
I've been digging through the source trying to track down the problem I am experiencing. This has actually led me into the source for libgnutls26 rather than neon but I'm posting here for completeness. libneon-gnutls27 calls gnutls_handshake() in libgnutls26 which calls _gnutls_handshake_client() which appears to proceed through the following stages successfully: Send hello. Receive server hello. Receive server certificate. Receive server key exchange message. Receive server certificate request message. Receive server hello done. Send client certificate. Send client key exchange. Send client certificate verify. It then calls _gnutls_handshake_common() which first successfully calls _gnutls_send_handshake_final() but falls over on _gnutls_recv_handshake_final() where it interprets the response from the server as a GNUTLS_ALERT packet instead of a GNUTLS_CHANGE_CIPHER_SPEC packet. I have to assume that it is the gnutls client misinterpreting the packet rather than the server sending something unexpected because client certificate authentication works when using the LD_PRELOAD workaround and also when using Firefox. I really want to get this working so I'll keep digging but if anyone has any ideas or wants to discuss please let me know. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/294648 Title: svn over https with client certificates broken (regression in intrepid) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 496616] Re: Mediaplayer crashed with pa_stream_writable_size() failed: Connection terminated
@David: I've had a little free time to test this on my Maverick PC with the 2.6.33-rt kernel which suffers from this. I tested by opening several wav/mp3 files with Totem, skipping around in the timeline for about a minute or until the bug was triggered. I found that: - pulseaudio 0.9.22 does not solve the problem - your pulseaudio package alone seems to solve the problem - your gstreamer package alone seems to solve the problem (now thinking, does this affect mp3 playback? maybe I didn't insist enough on the mp3s this time around) - both your packages at the same time seem to solve the problem The fact that both updated packages independently fix the issue would appear to indicate that this bug is (at least in my case) the consequence of several sub-optimal bits of code rather than a single point of failure... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/496616 Title: Mediaplayer crashed with pa_stream_writable_size() failed: Connection terminated -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 691750] Re: application window class should be in a separate file
Well, sort of. The latest code has moved most of the code to a BaseProjectWindow class. But there is still a bit of the class in the main script, for the user to modify and customize. But I'm actually thinking now that I'm not sure why we have any widgets in the main script. That it should be reserved for initialization code (which is getting larger all the time as we add more features and the ability to launch from /usr, /opt, or bzr). That way, the python module would hold all the widgets. I'm re-opening with that intention. Maybe we can rename BaseProjectWindow to just ProjectWindow and move the last bits of code into it. ** Changed in: quickly (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/691750 Title: application window class should be in a separate file -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 125702] Re: casper-rw fs not cleanly unmounted on persistent live USB shutdown
James wrote on 2010-12-13: I cannot. I get no errors that I can see on a regular boot, but running a check on the casper-rw partition shows that it gets corrupted after nearly every boot .. Something similar here, after a few boots I keep getting errors when running fsck on the USB device. I do see lots of i/o errors' just before shutdown, so it looks like it isn't being cleanly unmounted. [Bug 692587] [NEW] Cannot update crontab PATH variable via PAM
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cron In Lucid I cannot update the PATH variable via PAM using: ~/.pam_environment /etc/security/pam_env.conf Seems that cron supports the pam_env module but leaves out the capacity to alter PATH. [Bug 690901] Re: prints blank pages
The test print looks like that no pure black (ink from black cartridge) gets printed. Are you sure that your black cartridge is not empty? You can check ink levels running the command hp-levels in a terminal window. Note also that the update you mentioned did not change the driver for your printer (It is a fix for Color LaserJet printers). Perhaps also power-cycling your printer can help. Did there come along other printing-related updates (cups, ghostscript, foomatic-..., ...)? ** Also affects: hplip Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: hplip Status: New = Incomplete ** Changed in: hplip (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/690901 Title: prints blank pages -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 690798] Re: arduino USB serial device breaks on lucid kernel upgrade
Just to be clear, 677aeafe19e88c282af74564048243ccabb1c590 is NOT in the lucid kernel, while 6a1a82df91fa0eb1cc76069a9efe5714d087eccd is. So lucid is carrying a patch that has been reverted upstream and as described, changes the kernel back to the previous way of working. Git says it was added to lucid in Ubuntu-2.6.32-24.39-110-g55b5b54, which coincides with when the device stopped working. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/690798 Title: arduino USB serial device breaks on lucid kernel upgrade -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
