[Bug 728953] Re: Nautilus hangs after copying a file on a sftp server
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/728953 Title: Nautilus hangs after copying a file on a sftp server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/728953/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 890261] [NEW] can not execute oem-config in a chrooted environment

[Bug 497732] Re: Tar exited with error 512 () status
This seems to be a very nasty bug to me. Anyone installing backupc and expecting a no hassle backup of 'localhost' will be in for a shock, as the default tar arguments simply won't work under the default 'backuppc' user. There will always be at least a few files that don't give world- read access. What's worse is that backuppc will just keep trying to do its first full backup, trashing performance on that pc. Including --ignore-failed-read as a default argument to tar seems to be a simple and effective fix. Hi Scott, can you please give me a step-by-step of what is wrong? If I understand correctly: 1. Press Alt+F2 2. You get Dash up with Run a command text entry box 3. You enter the part or all of an application name, e.g. gcalct for gcaoctool 4. You press enter 5. gcalctool should appear. What happens for you? What goes wrong? Please reopen this bug if you disagree that the fix is committed. [Bug 888762] Re: Hard hang on resume from suspend
Do you know if this issue happened in previous version of Ubuntu, or is this a new issue? Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . If possible, please test the latest v3.2-rcN kernel (Not a kernel in the daily directory). Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream- testing' tag(Only that one tag, please leave the others). This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream- testing' text. If this bug is fixed by the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream-KERNEL-VERSION'. For example, if kernel version 3.2-rc1 fixed and issue, the tag would be: 'kernel-fixed- upstream-v3.2-rc1'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. Thanks in advance. ** Tags added: needs-upstream-testing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/888762 Title: Hard hang on resume from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/888762/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 888838] Re: Saitek Pedals not recognized at boot, work after unplugging and plugging back in
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? ** Tags added: needs-upstream-testing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/38 Title: Saitek Pedals not recognized at boot, work after unplugging and plugging back in To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/38/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

It's quite confusing, so is the issue fixed no? The log has a DVDVIDEO in Drive0, is that correct? [Bug 887915] Re: ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.ActionQueue - WARNING - Connection lost: [('SSL routines', 'SSL23_READ', 'ssl handshake failure')]
Hello all! The ('SSL routines', 'SSL23_READ', 'ssl handshake failure') error means there was a problem when connecting to the servers. Sycndaemon will try to reconnect automatically, so there is nothing to worry about. Last Friday we had an issue in our servers where syncdaemon was not able to connect for a couple of hours, but that is fixed now. Closing this bug report as Invalid.
