I have a cron job that runs, twice a day, switching CCTV monitor on/off.

after installation of texlive2012 without any problem  (installation on line 
from the TUG original server) , i got this error when installing Lyx which 
seems to gather texlive 2009 despite texlive 2012 was already installed
this error then appears everytime after installation of any software.
nevetheless the sofware seems to be installed and to be working

But may be in some special future use of one of these software I will se
an error occuring

I don't have that machine anymore. It happened on many different Ubuntu
machines though, most of them with a fresh setup, others with an
original 11.10 setup (upgraded to 12.04 as soon as it came out).
Whenever I get the message again, I will run that command.

This is a known bug and was fixed for Folsom. However it has not been fixed for

charset. They are configured in the french locale
(/etc/default/locale:LANG="fr_FR.UTF-8"), and even the subject is

[Bug 780706] Re: Wrong Launcher state when moving to another workspace

In 12.04 LTS on my laptop, I am still getting the Terminal window to
remain active after switching its workspace by following the steps
listed inn comment #1, but I can now switch to it by clicking on the
launcher icon for it. Immediately after following step 2 in that
comment, I find that the launcher still shows it as active, and I can
actually type on the keyboard and enter text into it from my current
workspace.

While I'm sure that is also not desired behavior, it might be a separate
bug. Let me know what you think.

that, I installed oneiric onto a separate partition, added the precise
repositories and upgraded the kernel to 3.2.0-26-generic.

Sorry have been away for a month - Have looked at instructions above and
need some additional info on what to do to file off line as apport-
collect does not seem to support the save option - could I please have
further instructions, have also tried  to apport- collect online again.
but still producing  errors

[Bug 448933] Re: [LENOVO 74585FF] thinkpad x200 hibernate/resume failure

After upgrading to 12.04 from 10.04, the hibernation stopped working.
First, when I hibernate from LXDE, it says "not authorized", and when I
"sudo hibernate" from command line, it hivernates and then hungs when
resuming, so that I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del and restart from a scratch.

I didn't change RAM or swap file size. The only thing I did was the
upgrade of Ubuntu, so this should be a system's issue, and I am
reopening this bug.
