[Bug 1052446] Re: Unable to open files after system wakeup - INFO: task XXXXX:5935 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We need some more information from you before we can start working on this bug. Please run the following command which will attach necessary information: apport-collect 1052446 if you are using Karmic Koala (9.10) or newer, or apport-collect -p linux-image-`uname -r` BUGNUMBER if you are using Hardy Heron (8.04) Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository with 'sudo apt-get install python- launchpadlib'. Additionally, when prompted to give apport-collect permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability to "Change Non-Private" data as it will be adding information to your bug report. If you are using an older release or cannot use apport please at least add the following information (pay attention to lspci's additional options): First run the following commands: 1) uname -a > uname-a.log 2) dmesg > dmesg.log 3) sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log 4) cat /proc/version_signature > version.log then attach the files separately to the bug report (not pasted into comments or tar/zip-ed). For your reference, the full description of procedures for kernel- related bug reports is available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies. [Bug 1055972] [NEW] Shows actions from .desktop file even when no TargetEnvironment is set

[Bug 1055973] [NEW] Evolution 3.6.0 - Restore from backup fails
Public bug reported: Just installed Evolution 3.6.0 on Ubuntu and (with the first-run dialog) restored my data from a backup (made with Evolution 3.4, Debian). Evolution restarted and presented me with the firts-run dialog again (and kept doing that). I manually entered an email account to proceed to the program: My contacts were restored, only 1 of 3 calendars ('personal') was restored and only the manually entered email account was present (but emails are restored). apport information ** Attachment added: "WifiSyslog.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1055922/+attachment/3340358/+files/WifiSyslog.txt ** Description changed: I am not sure if this is a new bug. It seems widely enough reported when I search Google. I run Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit on a Lenovo T430S with 16gb of RAM. About once a day it crashes - freezing completely. The mouse does not work. No keyboard shortcut works. The cursor stops flashing - a complete freeze. I have the bog-standard graphics card on it. I have tried a clean install (no extras) of Ubuntu it still happens. There is nothing in the system log that helps me. The system log is clean. intel core i5 - 3220m -- I figure because the system log is clean the only way to find out what causes this would be to have another computer sign in via SSH and monitor my system. I am prepared to have someone do this. --- AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.24. apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected precise running-unity staging ** Description changed: I am not sure if this is a new bug. The system log is clean. intel core i5 - 3220m -- - I figure because the system log is clean the only way to find out what - causes this would be to have another computer sign in via SSH and - monitor my system. [Bug 1055967] [NEW] ubiquity kde frontend is broken in current kubuntu "stable" daily builds
Public bug reported: How to repeat: 1) Get e.g., http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/precise/daily- live/20120924.1/precise-desktop-amd64.iso 2) Try to boot it in a VM (qemu/KVM or virtualbox should do fine) 3) Experience the crash Please don't ask stacktrace etc since I can't get any (it refuses to load any debug information, --pdb doesn't seem to work either). A little debugging with --debug shows: kubuntu-ubiquity(3341)/kdeui (kdelibs): Session bus not found 12.04.1 livecd works fine. The major change between that version and now was KDE 4.8.4 -> 4.8.5 and a small update in dbus-x11 (but my hunch is that the first is the culprit). I think the problem is that KDE added a new way to (try to) access the session bus under the hood, at a time when ubiquity doesn't expect and so is running as root, causing the problem. strace shows many -EAGAINs in what seems to be D-bus communication before the crash, which seems to support this. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1055967 Title: ubiquity kde frontend is broken in current kubuntu "stable" daily builds To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1055967/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Since open-iscsi-2.0-873 is already in Quantal, I'm suggesting fixing this in 12.04 (and maybe older). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1053306 Title: iscsiadm hangs in recvmsg() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/open-iscsi/+bug/1053306/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1053454] Re: signon-ui crashed with SIGABRT in __libc_message()
Hi all, and thanks for reporting this bug. This crash happens when the signon-ui process is terminated, which usually happens at the end of a session. For this reason, the bug reporter catches this crash at the beginning of the next session: that's why it appears that the crash happened on login. I have a fix almost ready, stay tuned! :-) Although the stack trace is different, this is at all effects the same as bug 1053444. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1053454 Title: signon-ui crashed with SIGABRT in __libc_message() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/online-accounts-signon-ui/+bug/1053454/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1055944] Re: New bug fix releases: 9.1.6, 8.4.14, 8.3.21
Hello Martin, or anyone else affected, Accepted postgresql-9.1 into oneiric-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postgresql-9.1/9.1.6-0ubuntu11.10 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please change the bug tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not, change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification .
