[Bug 1031680] Re: check_apt always report 0 critical updates
Also an option is to port check_apt to use libapt-pkg[1]. This has the advantage that libapt-pkg is providing a stable api and we don't need to parse output of apt-get/aptitude. Other peers are listed here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Modules/All (search for "PSM") * There are a few build config changes, so it should probably get a review from a build peer (search that same page for "build config" - it's the one related to Gecko) * You might consider marking old patches obsolete in this bug just to clean it up -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/217300 Title: Seahorse integration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/217300/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 875543] Re: can't eject cd rom : Inappropriate ioctl for device
I found the same problem on 12.04; I think it started when I was using Rythm Box to "extract" some music from a CD, and when I saw that it was creating .ogg files, I decided to terminate the job, and finding there was no "cancel" button in the application, I pushed the eject button on the cd drive, admittedly a brash act. The drive did open, but the application hung, and something had changed irreversibly. The problem still persists now as soon as I boot up I can open the drive with the button once, but after that, there is nothing that will open it except a reboot, or the terminal command "sudo eject -i off", which does not eject, but re-enables the button on the drive. [Bug 1199199] Re: emacs dependency inhibits using latest version
However, the bug is not in emacs23, but in the packages which declare a dependency on a nonexistent package. I'm marking this as Incomplete because it needs to be split up into tasks for the packages which need a change. ("Tasks" are the items which show up on a yellow background at the top of the page in Launchpad. Add tasks by clicking "also affects package ..." and picking a package you want to add a task for.) (Too bad I cannot go back and edit some minor inaccuracies in the previous comment. Anyway, "emacs" fills the role you propose for "emacs-default" and "emacsen" [roughly] the role you postulate for "emacs", but it doesn't have a meaningful version number for specifying stuff like "GNU Emacs >= 23 <24".) ** Changed in: emacs23 (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1199199 Title: emacs dependency inhibits using latest version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/emacs23/+bug/1199199/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 480671]
I'm using Firefox 22.0 on Fedora 19. I tried to log into a site typing a lowercase name. Auto completion offered both the lower case and initial caps version. But nothing I tried would let me get the lowercase name (tab, mouse click (on choices, or on other part of form), arrow key). Jesse on #firefox suggested that I edit the saved passwords. I found that there was an entry for each casing. I deleted the initial caps version. Then all was well. It seems odd to me that even though both spellings were in the table. [Bug 1199199] Re: emacs dependency inhibits using latest version
For example, auctex has "Depends: emacs23 | emacs24 | emacs-snapshot" -- I believe precisely to *support* users who want to be able to use emacs- snapshot instead of one of the regular emacsen, but without forcing anyone to give up the version they already have. This dependency is resolved when one of the packages is installed. The metapackage "emacsen" exists precisely so that a package can pull in an Emacs-agnostic version, but perhaps it should be somewhat more fine- grained. A typical pattern is "Depends: emacs23 | emacsen" but then this is insufficient for packages which require specifically GNU Emacs, not e.g. xemacs21, which also "Provides: emacsen". Nevertheless, I think autex (too) should perhaps fall back to "| emacsen" so that anyone can sastisfy the dependency with a package which "Provides: emacsen" instead. (Maybe add "Conflicts: xemacs21" if that is an issue, but then that is too harsh on systems where you want both GNU Emacs and Xemacs.) I have not looked further into this matter than the single example of auctex (I'm not an auctex user, it just happened to be first on the list), but I believe it is perhaps less severe than indicated in the original bug report. Nevertheless, I have checked "Affects me too" because I certainly agree that this merits additional triage, and perhaps escalation upstream (i.e. to Debian). (Matters may be complicated somewhat by the fact that Ubuntu used to have an independently packaged Emacs, but IIRC that was back when it was emacs22. Furthermore, the sad state of xemacs21 at least in Ubuntu is a huge can of worms.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1199199 Title: emacs dependency inhibits using latest version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/emacs23/+bug/1199199/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I want add mnemonic letters with add and remove buttons with preferences dialog, but because this widgets is GtkTool button type, this is not possible. [Bug 1197687] Re: setting fucntions cannot be started from control-center
I do the test on July 4th UbuntuKylin daily build image and the steps are follow: (1) Open the "System Settings" and the setting functions except "Date&Time" are can be started normally . (2) Then open the date-time indicator and choose the "Date&Time Settings", the time setting cannot be started and the control-center main windows appears. (3) After that, the gnome-control-center window cannot be closed. Meanwhile when I choose any one function in control-center, it will return back to the main window of control-center. So the problem maybe caused by "indicator date-time", then I reported a bug #1197662 to "indicator date-time". the indicator date-time version is : 12.10.3+13.10.20130703.1-0ubuntu1 the gnome-control-center version is: 1:3.6.3-0ubuntu29 In the latest daily build image, the problem seems to be resolved and the versions are follow: indicator date-time : 12.10.3+13.10.20130708-0ubuntu1 gnome-control-center: 1:3.6.3-0ubuntu30 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1197687 Title: setting fucntions cannot be started from control-center To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-control-center/+bug/1197687/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1199017] Re: [needs-packaging] ubuntuone-credentials
** Also affects: ubuntuone-credentials Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: In order that we can provide features integrated with Ubuntu One on the phone/tablet versions of Ubuntu, and improve related features on the standard version of Ubuntu, bringing them closer together, we need to introduce a C++/Qt based library and a few applications into the distribution, from the ubuntuone-credentials upstream project. The code currently contains a library for logging in or registering a new account to Ubuntu One, and signing a URL with the authentication token. It also includes a small app which is to be run by the music lens/scope in the dash, when attempting to purchase music in the dash, and the user is not already logged in to Ubuntu One. [Bug 41179]
Adrien - here's some steps you can take: * Does it apply/compile for mozilla-central? (`hg clone https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central`, `cd mozilla-central`, [apply patch], `./mach build`) * It still needs (at least) a review from a PSM peer. As far as I know, Kai is unavailable to do PSM reviews. Other peers are listed here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Modules/All (search for "PSM") * There are a few build config changes, so it should probably get a review from a build peer (search that same page for "build config" - it's the one related to Gecko) * You might consider marking old patches obsolete in this bug just to clean it up -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/41179 Title: Integrate with Gnome Keyring To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/41179/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
