[Bug 1210649] Re: /usr/lib/ubuntu-release-upgrader/check-new-release-gtk:TypeError:on_button_upgrade_now_clicked:run:error:error:__init__:__init__:function
** Description changed: The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding ubuntu-release-upgrader. This problem was most recently seen with version 1:0.190.7, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/95e23eef1d67b997e47197c477a3149fa3b97b7b contains more details. Impact: Users of Ubuntu 12.10 (and 13.04) are unable to upgrade to Ubuntu 13.04 (or 13.10) unless they manually install libgksu2-0 (or a package that depends on it). Test Case: 1) Install Ubuntu 12.10 (or 13.04) 2) Run /usr/lib/ubuntu-release-upgrader/check-new-release-gtk (with -d for 13.04) 3) Click upgrade now 4) Observe a crash With the version of ubuntu-release-upgrader from -proposed it will not crash Regression Potential: None as we are just readding a removed dependency for ubuntu-release-upgrader. + + Development Fix: + The plan to fix this in the development release is to move to policykit instead of using gksu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1210649 Title: /usr/lib/ubuntu-release-upgrader/check-new-release- gtk:TypeError:on_button_upgrade_now_clicked:run:error:error:__init__:__init__:function To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1210649/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1215617] [NEW] Should not stop if there are active clients
Public bug reported: So there have been a couple of libvirt upgrades. I start dist-upgrade, while working in a VM. Suddently virtual-manager disconnects and thows me out of the VM, because libvirt-bin has stopped the service in preinstall. Then I had to wait for a long time (all other packages install), until postinstall did finally run and start libvirt-bin again. Ideally, you'd not stop libvirt whilst there are connections open to the libvirt client. And possibly to reduce down time, can libvirt-bin stop & start during postinstall to minimise down time? ** Affects: libvirt (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Status: New ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1215617 Title: Should not stop if there are active clients To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1215617/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1213879] Re: kernel fault ovs 1.10.1 + linux 3.11
@James Page, Did this bug just start happening after a new kernel update? Was there a prior kernel that did not get this fault? If so, we can perform a bisect to identify the commit that introduced the regression. Also, the 3.11.0-3.7 kernel is now available, which is rebased to upstream v3.11-rc6. [Bug 1215590] [NEW] BIOS update 219 (from 215) for Asus UX31A led to battery % error
Public bug reported: Following a BIOS update from 215 to 219 for my Asus UX31A, battery % now reports as being on 84% when it should read 100% (as it does in Windows 8). This value will remain permanently on 84% and will never reach 100% when plugged into the mains. The little light on the power cable lights up as green colour suggesting battery is at fully charged, thus confirming there is some kind of miscommunication between my hardware and xubuntu/kernel.
