This doesn't seem to be an indicator-power issue. Both upower --dump logs show upower reporting a `discharging' state when the users say their laptops are in a charging state. If the people experiencing this could report it upstream to the upower maintainers at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=upower , that would be great. ** Changed in: indicator-power (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1048041 Title: battery icon doesn't show it is charging when it's plugged in To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/upower/+bug/1048041/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1261730] Re: /dev/sda1 must be recovered on every boot
I could debug it down to a testcase. Just create the file /etc/init/test.conf with the following lines: start on mounted and stopped mounted-tmp exec mkdir -p /tmp/no-journal After a reboot the recovery will happen. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. [Bug 1262069] Re: Cannot boot from live ISO with more than one hdd attached to system
Phil Wyett, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please test the latest upstream kernel available (not the daily folder, but v3.13-rc3, as rc4 doesn't have all the necessary files) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For example: kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.13-rc4 This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please remove the tag: needs-upstream-testing If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER As well, please remove the tag: needs-upstream-testing Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's Status as Confirmed. [Bug 1232828] Re: Bluetooth indicator comes back on reboot
I've confirmed this is still the case on a 2013-12018 update before touching /userdata/.writable_image, but bluetooth stays off after the image becomes writable. This sounds a little like bug #1230275; however, indicator-bluetooth no longer pokes /dev/rfkill directly. Instead, it just powers the default bluez adapter on/off via bluez' dbus API. [Bug 1260068] Re: Unity continuous-integration fails in armhf due possibly to a libegl issue
To build Unity and run the tests in an up-to-date Trusty build environment you need to use the GTK fix branch (API changes in GTK prevent Unity from building using trunk). # apt-get build-dep unity # bzr branch lp:~townsend/unity/fix-gtk-build-error/ # cd fix-gtk-build-error # dpkg-buildpackage The unit tests are run as a part of the packaging build. The file tests/dummy-xorg-test-runner.sh is a shell script use to invoke a headless X.org server against which the tests get run. I believe this is where the problem lies. It looks like the headless X.org server does not start properly on armhf targets with the new Mesa.
