Same problem here with a ThinkStation S20, Nvidia Quadro 2000, and grub 2.02~beta2-9ubuntu1.3. Apparently the default is to use the monitor's full resolution of (in my case) 1920x1200, causing the bug to appear. It's obviously not a big problem, but it's quite irritating. Hi 1. Is the gnome-panel not brought in by gnome-session flashback package? My assumption was that on a fresh Ubuntu 14.04.3 install the gnome-panel was not present and one only gets standard Ubunty Unity default session choice. @Stephen, sorry for the delay and kicking up a old issue, didn't notice that... I've attached a screenshot of the situation, only do discover a little nuance. They way you launch terminator affects which icon gets used. The blurry version I get by using the shortcut ctrl+alt+t and when I start it from the search or launcher it gets the proper SVG version. Hey Sander, no problem about the age of the issue. Terminator has quite a bug collection, and with a lot of them I'm not easily able to reproduce, and the original raiser has moved on. Having someone pop up and confirm it is still an issue and helping narrow it down helps immensely. Unfortunately, I now have the puzzle of how (if possible) to fix this. Possibly it is something we were/are doing wrong like forcing the window icons size. However I have changed that code in the latest trunk. Are you using trunk or 0.97? If you could try the trunk you may find that the changes have fixed the issue. This appears to be the expected 'emergency' mode with systemd, so for 15.04 and later that is what you would see on a failure to mount a local filesystem. In 14.10 I went to the grub menu and switched to an older kernel and it worked with the skip message, but the newer kernel just dropped to the shell. This behavior should not vary by kernel. Public bug reported: DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.04 Package: deluge-common 1.3.11-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 I was trying to write my own plugin, which made a call to deluge.core.Torrent.set_trackers() with the 'trackers' parameter set to None. From the source code, you can see that what's supposed to happen is the current list of trackers is refreshed, however because the distro release uses a more recent version of libtorrent, the function call fails with an AttributeError: 'dict' object has no attribute 'url' exception. This is related to the upstream bug #2223: http://dev.deluge- torrent.org/ticket/2223. It was fixed in the Torrent constructor, but not in set_trackers(). I have made a patch which fixes this bug. I have tried logging this bug upstream as well, but I've had no luck in creating an account at the above site. Should you accept my patch, can you please forward it upstream also? And it just got really interesting. After fighting this issue for hours, I gave up and resolved to copying by terminal. By force of habit, I accidently used nautilus once more to copy, after copying a batch of files by terminal, and presto, it works. Nautilus now copies files without complaining. I don't understand what happens here. Public bug reported: It is a Toshiba Satellite C50-B-15N to be precise. It has a single combo plug, and Ubuntu fails to switch to the headset microphone when a combo jack is plugged in. Sometimes even the output fails switching to phones, but it only happens very seldom, and after a reboot it works fine again. But the mic just never ever switches, only the laptop's built-in one is always working. I am using an up to date Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet with Unity and standard audio set-up. I haven't (yet) change anything audio-related. I have started this bug with apport, so I believe most of these details are reported there. Probably a different bug, but it could be related: The built-in mic is stereo, but only its left side is actually working, as a normal single- channel mic. The right side is deaf. [Bug 1484292] Re: openbox does not maximize to full window size with saved larger resolutoin
I can reproduce this in a plain openbox session but only with lxpanel on the top monitor of multimonitor setup in both lxde and plain openbox. If I move the lxpanel to the bottom monitor I can work aroudn this and it does not happen but openbox does not seem to be reserving space for lxpanel on the top monitor. Is there another panel I shold check to see if this is not a bug eslewhere?
