And also add the new libs. - Refreshed Debian patchesS - Dropped transitional packages <4.6, added a set for 4.6. - Dropped tools-allow-configure-time-choice-of-libexec-subdire.patch (upstream) - Dropped ubuntu-config-prefix-fix.patch (unnecessary) - Dropped all security patches since those were all included in the new upstream release. - Added fix for FTBS on Arm due to unused static variables and hardening flags turned on. - Switched dependencies of sysvinit scripts from libvirt-bin to libvirtd. - Added modprobe for xen-acpi-processor (no auto-load alias) to xenstrore init script. Otherwise there is no frequency scaling if the driver is compiled as a module. - Added proposed upstream fix for regression to save PV guests with more than 1G of memory. xen (4.6.0-1+nmu2) unstable; urgency=medium * Ensure debian/control.md5sum is correctly updated. [Bug 1574193] Re: ubuntu-support-status lists end-of-support packages (after EOL) as supported
Hello Matthias, or anyone else affected, Accepted update-manager into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update- manager/1:16.04.4 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Public bug reported: I'm using a belkin wireless usb adapter to connect to the internet. It worked fine when installing from usb. Once I installed the OS to the computer I could see my home network but could not connect to it. It would ask for the password, I entered it, and it would ask again, and again, never connecting. If I use my cell phone as a hot spot I connect instantly. I've spent more than an hour on the phone with my ISP, they don't think it's them, neither do I. I'm using the same adapter on another computer also running lubuntu and it works fine. I don't know if it's related but I can't shutdown my computer without pressing the power button. I've tried to power off from the terminal, I've tried adding acpi=force to /etc/default/grub among numerous other recommendations I've found online. [Bug 530281] [NEW] "Scratch" control should correlate to the deck speed at all times
You have been subscribed to a public bug: It would be ideal if the scratch control would work the same regardless of whether the deck is playing or not. Specifically, can it be the "master control" for a deck such that setting play to 1 merely sets scratch to 1? (and lights the play button, etc.) Right now, we can't slow a playing track below the play speed without stopping it first while simultaneously setting scratch=1, which is a very messy hack. (That's how the SCS.3d's vinyl2 mode works.) (More info: currently when play==1 and scratch==0, deck speed==pitch. When play==0 and scratch==0, deck speed==0. But when play==1 and scratch==-0.001, speed==-1.001, so there's no way to get deck speed to be -1https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/530281 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1629497] Re: sftp vfs support not using key-based authentication
Well, I'm not sure how we can help you. There is an option to install from source, or else unofficial binary packages are provided here: http://www.midnight-commander.org/wiki/Binaries . It is way to hard to backport fixes to 4.8.15, and the other problem is you need to identify them in the first place. I would say the only reasonable strategy would be to request a backport of the complete package, but I'd suggest you to wait with filling a bug for that until 4.8.18 is released and gets into Ubuntu. ** Changed in: mc (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1629497 Title: sftp vfs support not using key-based authentication To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mc/+bug/1629497/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
