Hi Daniel, Thank you for your quick response. The details are here. 1. Selecting 'Ubuntu on Wayland' from the login screen. Do you now get 4K modes offered in Settings? - I don't see any Wayland option. The max resolution at Display Settings is 1080p. 2. Thanks. This appears to be an Nvidia hardware or driver fault. Since this is the first time I've ever seen this (other Nvidia users don't seem to encounter the same issue) I would suggest the simplest solution would be to change the graphics card.
