2022-06-01 Thread ethan.hsieh
I verified xlnx-firmware (2022.1-1-0ubuntu1~22.04.1) on my zcu102.
boot1021.bin, boot1041.bin, boot1021.bin, boot1061.bin, boot.bin in
/boot/firmware get updated after upgrading xlnx-firmware to
2022.1-1-0ubuntu1~22.04.1. System can boot without any problems with new
bootX.bin.

[Bug 1976267] Re: edk2 ftbfs in jammy with -march=x86-64-v3

2022-06-01 Thread Christian Ehrhardt 
Interesting, seems to build but later fail to boot correctly (or in
time) at the self tests.

Since DannF usually handles edk2 for Debian and Ubuntu I subscribed him
and wanted to ask if he looks at this as well (to avoid duplicate work)?

[Bug 1976396] Re: laptop keyboard not working for about 30 seconds after resume from suspend

2022-06-01 Thread Sander Jonkers
Ah, SOLVED, like this:

Triggered by your remarks, I found
https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/656183, which says:

RUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="atkbd.reset i8042.reset i8042.nomux quiet splash".

If this doesn't work, follow the same process but try
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="i8042.direct i8042.dumbkbd"

... and that last line worked for me: keyboard works immediatly after
boot and resume.

So my grub line is now

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i8042.debug=1i8042.direct
i8042.dumbkbd"

I guess I can remove i8042.debug=1

Thank you!

[Bug 1974100] Re: qemu ide/sata disks do not work well with discard/trim

2022-06-01 Thread Brent Baccala
@Christian,

I haven't tried all of your combinations, but when I mount a second disk
using the growpart/e2fsck/resize2fs sequence that you suggest and then
mount it, it grows to 725 MB and then zerofree reports what you
observed:

baccala@osito:~/NPDC/GNS3/bug$ sudo zerofree -v /dev/nbd0p1
3/5963617/6525179

But when I use an identical disk as the root filesystem, it grows to 789
MB and then zerofree reports this:

baccala@osito:~/NPDC/GNS3/bug$ sudo zerofree -v /dev/nbd0p1
1524/5953550/6525179

Both virtual disks are ubuntu 20.04 cloudimgs extended to 25 GB. I used
the procedure I described on May 20 (cloudinit.iso on a virtual CD-ROM)
with the one disk as root and the other one as /dev/sdb. Both were
identical when I booted the VM.

You mentioned that "all tools that make it easy for me to deploy one
also pick virtio by default"; can you run qemu from the command line on
a bare metal system? If so, I thought my May 20 procedure was pretty
simple. If not, then I guess it's harder to verify this.

[Bug 1976225] Re: Update the EGL headers as per AMD-Xilinx's request

2022-06-01 Thread ethan.hsieh
@Łukas

Sorry. I didn't aware that the second field is . AMD-
Xilinx got libraries and header files from ARM. The version number is
9p0.01rel0. AMD-Xilinx updated one header file but the upstream version
number in github[1] is still the same. The header file was not modified
by Canonical. So, I updated the version number to 9p0.01rel0-1ubuntu1
instead of 9p0.01rel0-0ubuntu6.

The version number in kinetic is already 9p0.01rel0-1ubuntu2. Any
suggestion to correct it?

Re: [Bug 1975744] Re: purging cloud-init doesn't remove its network configuration files

2022-06-01 Thread Brent Baccala
I like the idea of working this into cloud-init clean.

My use case is that I use cloud-init to initially configure an instance
that will later be manually configured, so I don't want files lying around
that say things like "if you edit this file it will be overwritten on the
next boot" (I forget the exact wording) when that's not the case.

[Bug 1976567] [NEW] Desktop scaling was set incorrectly until I booted up the PC AFTER turning on the monitor

2022-06-01 Thread Seija K.
Public bug reported:

Whenever I boot up my PC, I turn on the monitor as well. When this
happens, the Intel Mesa graphics loads, and my screen ends up being
small with large pixelated icons. The resolution was capped at 1024x768.
Only after I reboot my PC multiple times without changing the display
settings did the resolution increase to 1680x1050, the correct
resolution.

[Bug 1976395] Re: Duplicate ufw rules installed by dovecot packages

2022-06-01 Thread Athos Ribeiro
Hi timeless,

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

There are snippets from the bionic d/changelog:

[snip...]
dovecot (1:2.2.25-1ubuntu1) zesty; urgency=medium
  [snip...]
  * Dropped Changes as they got accepted in Debian:
[snip...]
+ Add ufw integration:
  - d/dovecot-core.ufw.profile: new ufw profile.
  - d/rules: install profile in dovecot-core.
  - d/control: dovecot-core - suggest ufw.
[snip...]
dovecot (1:2.2.25-1) unstable; urgency=medium
  [snip...]
  * [16db179] Merged in some features of the Ubuntu dovecot package.
[snip...]
+ dovecot-imapd,dovecot-pop3d: Added ufw profiles.
[snip...]
dovecot (1:2.2.24-1ubuntu1) yakkety; urgency=medium
  * Merge with Debian; Remaining Changes:
[snip...]
+ Add ufw integration:
  - d/dovecot-core.ufw.profile: new ufw profile.
  - d/rules: install profile in dovecot-core.
  - d/control: dovecot-core - suggest ufw.

From the logs above, it seems that:

- we introduced the profiles in a single file (dovecot-core) in yakkety
- Debian merged the change, but split it in separate files
(dovecot-imapd,dovecot-pop3d)
- we dropped the old file when merging the new Debian change for zesty

The solution here would be to remove the old profile (dovecot-core) if
it was not touched by the user.

A workaround for anyone facing this issue is to remove
/etc/ufw/applications.d/dovecot-core if it does not contain custom
configurations.

While this issue does differ from LP: #937040 because this is not cause by
dovecot-common, but by an old version of dovecot-core, the arguments exposed in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dovecot/+bug/937040/comments/7
still seem to apply here.

I am marking this bug as triaged and setting the priority to low given
the assumption that there are not many users facing the issue and that
there is a straightforward workaround here. IMHO, this would also hinder
the case for an SRU.

I will not target bionic because this would still be an issue if one
kept upgrading the package all the way to jammy. However, the priority
may go down (or the bug may be set to invalid) once bionic hits its end
of standard support.

Unless someone is willing to drive this bug providing a patch and filing
an SRU (do notice that it could be hard to make a case for this one with
the SRU team), I am not sure if we will see much progress here other
than the aforementioned workaround.

[Bug 1975744] Re: purging cloud-init doesn't remove its network configuration files

2022-06-01 Thread Chad Smith
Thanks for the bug and triage folks.

While this is confirmed/known behavior, I don't think cloud-init should
be automatically removing core configuration files that are not packaged
by cloud-init's deb package especially if removal of those config files
can have catastrophic consequences on the ability to connect to the
system. If the networking service happens to be restarted outside of
the perview of the admin purging the cloud-init package it would be very
surprising for the unsuspecting admin to see the system drop.

Also we are aware of use-cases where folks may expect to use cloud-init
once, and have attempted to remove cloud-init deb package after initial
system configuration is correctly performed to ensure cloud-init no
longer acts to reconfigure the system in the future.

While this use-case above is probably less desirable that just disabling
cloud-init via `sudo touch /etc/cloud/cloud-init.disabled` it does allow
image creators to reduce the overall size of their image if they are
trying to generate customized images with cloud-init and remove cloud-
init and any other dependencies on which cloud-init relies.

I'd prefer we avoid addressing this in packaging specifically, though we could
grow this functionality in cloud-init clean to clean up network config
artifacts generated by cloud-init. This would at least make it easier for your
use-case of cleaning up all network config files that cloud-init generated on a
system.

2022-06-01 Thread Athos Ribeiro
Thanks for the report, Bill. And thanks for willing to solve this
upstream, Matthias!

Since upstream is aware and will provide the requested docs in a future
release, we can wait for that patch to be ready, then we can pull that
into the development release and consider SRUing it if we can make a
good case for that.

[Bug 1971667] Re: Skip setting ethernet LED on Dell EMC board

2022-06-01 Thread Ubuntu Kernel Bot
This bug is awaiting verification that the linux-
intel-5.13/5.13.0-1012.12 kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please
test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is
solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-focal' to 'verification-
done-focal'. If the problem still exists, change the tag 'verification-
needed-focal' to 'verification-failed-focal'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how
to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!

[Bug 1976563] [NEW] All text and images in Gnome Shell are corrupted

2022-06-01 Thread Sam Magura
Public bug reported:

See attached screenshot.

The corrupted text and images are only appearing in the Ubuntu desktop
environment (like the login screen, dock, and the bar at top of the
screen). Applications like Nautilus, the Terminal app, and Chrome are
not affected.

Maybe an Nvidia issue?

I'm going to restart my PC which will probably fix the issue. I'll edit
this if the issue persists after the restart.

Edit: To anyone investigating this issue, I recommend looking at some of
the other issues I've reported recently. It seems like they could all be
connected somehow, with Nvidia as the common thread.

without direct access to the ubuntu servers. Therefore we download all
needed Ubuntu packages as a front-end step, putting them in an IBM-
internal archive. At build time, reprepro is used to put them in to a
local filesystem repo which then feeds debootstrap. The front-end step
certainly downloads from focal-updates, always using apt-get download.

[Bug 1976558] [NEW] upgrade from ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 fails due to yaru-theme-gnome-shell missing files

2022-06-01 Thread ed20900
Public bug reported:

I had to delete installed files of Yaru Theme for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
before continuing the upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

After removing those files and trying a second time, there were more missing
files:
/usr/share/themes/Yaru/gnome-shell/key-enter.svg

/usr/share/themes/Yaru/gnome-shell/key-layout.svg

/usr/share/themes/Yaru/gnome-shell/key-shift-uppercase.svg
/usr/share/themes/Yaru/gnome-shell/gnome-shell.css

After removing those too, I could proceed and finish the upgrade. With
aptitude resolving broken dependencies was possible. Afterwards
reexecuted the upgrader already unpacked to /tmp. That removed old
packages not needed anymore which aptitude failed to manage.

[Bug 1976556] [NEW] [Lenovo 300e 2nd GEN] ELAN Touchpad not working

2022-06-01 Thread phil
Public bug reported:

Used Ubunutu 22.04 with the current 5.15.x Kernel, cross tested with
Linux Mint and 5.14.x Kernel.

I have a Lenovo 300e 2nd Gen with an ELAN Touchscreen AND Touchpad with
AMD processor.

The Touchscreen is working flawlessly.
The TouchPAD is dead.

According to the Windows driver:
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_PTP_WIN10_Group2_Inst,
HID\VEN_ELAN_0660; ClickPad for Capela 14e Windows
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_PTP_WIN10_Group1_Inst,
HID\VEN_ELAN_0661; ClickPad for Windows 100e/300e
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_PTP_WIN10_Group3_Inst,
HID\VEN_ELAN_066C; ClickPad for 100e/300e AMD Pollock
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_PTP_WIN10_Group1_Inst,
HID\VEN_ELAN_066E; ClickPad for 100W&300W Gen3 AMD Pollock
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_PTP_WIN10_Group1_Inst,
HID\VEN_ELAN_066F; ClickPad for 300W Gen3 Intel JasperLake

it is an ELAN066C

According to similar solutions i tried to block several built in kernel
modules, without success.

[Bug 1975634] Re: [SRU] Xena stable releases

2022-06-01 Thread Corey Bryant
** Description changed:

  [Impact]
This release sports mostly bug-fixes and we would like to make sure all of
our users have access to these improvements.

The update contains the following package updates:

+* cinder 19.1.0
     * neutron 19.3.0
     * manila 13.0.3

  [Test Case]
The following SRU process was followed:
  https://wiki.ubuntu.com/OpenStack/StableReleaseUpdates

In order to avoid regression of existing consumers, the OpenStack team
will run their continuous integration test against the packages that are
in -proposed. A successful run of all available tests will be required
before the proposed packages can be let into -updates.

The OpenStack team will be in charge of attaching the output summary of
the executed tests. The OpenStack team members will not mark
  ‘verification-done’ until this has happened.

  [Regression Potential]
In order to mitigate the regression potential, the results of the
aforementioned tests are attached to this bug.

  [Discussion]

[Bug 1976554] [NEW] Screen auto rotates randomly after suspend

Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Release:22.04

iio-sensor-proxy: 3.3-0ubuntu6
mutter: 42.0-3ubuntu2

Since update to Ubuntu 22.04:

If i leave screen rotation in GNOME enabled and come back form suspend
mode (open/close Laptop) the screen is rotated wrong. Mostly 90 degrees
left from normal view axis.

Expected behaviour:

The screen should not rotate until logged in again or there should be a
delay before choosing an new rotation whilst laptop is opened.

Same problem seems to be present in older iio-sensor-proxy versions.

Mabye affected to Mutter and or iio-sensor-proxy

[Bug 1884726] Re: [TTM] Buffer eviction failed

2022-06-01 Thread alex-mobigo
Update info:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation G96 [GeForce 9500 GT]
(rev a1)

I can work with intensive GPU accel (opengl / opengles) without any crashes.
With the browser (Chrome,Chromium,Brave, and recently i have read about the TTM
crash with Firefox), it can crash the computer after a few minutes while
scrolling down the page with lots of ads.

I am not sure if the bug is in TTM/drm or the GPU userspace in the
browser. But Chromium crashes right after login into lightdm. I was not
even aware chromium had a background thread running.

Just for Information, here is how chromium is rendering the page, looks
like corrupt page.

[Bug 1884299] Re: Chromium snap won't run with nfs home drive

2022-06-01 Thread Andrew Conway
Matthieu, more recently a more likely problem has been characterized by Alberto
Mardegan and found the line in question in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1973321

In particular, restarting snapd doesn't help at all for me, so having
the directory mounted before snapd starts doesn't help, and the same
problem occurs with other file systems. However _starting_ outside the
home directory does help. This is the situation for me with Kerberos
authenticated NFS, and others with sshfs. I don't know whether it is
relevant for people using NFS without authentication. It is easy to test
for yourself - restart snapd and see if that helps.

So I think there is progress in understanding the problem, even if not
working out how to fix it.

FYI: I initially tried a work around where I used the debian repository
for firefox instead of the snap version, but despite giving it a higher
priority (confirmed via "sudo apt policy firefox") I found the debian
package twice over a week uninstalled and replaced by the snap version
that then would not start. I can manually revert it but it is
inconvenient. Any suggestions on how to make that work reliably would be
appreciated.

[Bug 1926218] Re: Disable or Remove FLoC features and the provider service

2022-06-01 Thread Nathan Teodosio
'find "$HOME"/snap/chromium -iname *floc*' gives me nothing either, but
I only installed it a couple of weeks ago.

Some things I observe:

1. In my set-up, Floc can _not_ be enabled in
.

2. Look into the parts concerning Floc in the source code, one finds several
stub functions, e.g. in
chrome/browser/privacy_sandbox/privacy_sandbox_service.cc:393

  void PrivacySandboxService::SetFlocPrefEnabled(bool enabled) const {
// TODO(crbug.com/1299720): Remove this and all the UI code which uses it.
return;
  }

3. In that page ,

> FLoC-the-feature has been removed from the codebase, but there are still a
> few UX surfaces that need to surface FLoC information (basically informing
> users that it's disabled).

And then the title of commit
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/3c4b23ea94bf0efbc12d93e832b5888c50412b6b
is

> Privacy Sandbox Settings: Move FLoC to Topics API

This suggests Google is moving away from Floc.

4. Indeed, from
,

All in all, apparently Floc is being phased out we have a moving target. So, if
that is a correct assessment, although this bug report will technically solve
itself with time (insofar as it is targeted at Floc), we will still keep an eye
for future tracking mechanisms inside Chromium, under whatever name they may
come to be.

[Bug 1970994] Re: /usr/libexec/gnome-remote-desktop-daemon:11:setChannelError:rdpgfx_server_thread_func:thread_launcher:start_thread:clone3

2022-06-01 Thread Jeremy Bicha
** Description changed:

+ Impact

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding
gnome-remote-desktop. This problem was most recently seen with package version
42.0-4ubuntu1, the problem page at
https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/77f41623474304919ac793c6665505547b583b60
contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or
traceback, and individual crash reports.
If you do not have access to the Ubuntu Error Tracker and are a software
developer, you can request it at http://forms.canonical.com/reports/.

+ Test Case 1
+ ---
+ Unfortunately, we weren't able to identify a reliable test case.

- It's believed this issue will be fixed with
- https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/pull/7836
+ We will know if this bug is fixed if errors.ubuntu.com stops reporting
+ that error with a fully upgraded system. However, that means this update
+ will need to be pushed to -updates
+
+ Test Case 2
+ ---
+ Install all updates. Log out and log back in.
+ Open the Settings app to the Sharing page. Turn on Sharing and turn on Remote
Desktop Sharing.
+ Turn it off then on because there may be a gnome-control-center bug with
initial enabling.
+
+ From a second computer, connect to the first computer using Remmina.
+
+ The Remote Desktop page on the first computer provides the username and
+ password to use. I wasn't able to get the "Remote Desktop Address" to
+ work (maybe avahi doesn't work well?) so just use the first computer's
+ IP address.
+
+ So something like:
+ RDP jeremy@192.168.1.1
+
+ Ensure that the connection works.
+
+ Then repeat the test after updating the second computer to use the
+ updated freerdp2 since Remmina itself uses freerdp2. Basically we want
+ to make sure things keep working after the update but also continue to
+ work for connections between systems that aren't using the same version
+ of freerdp2.
+
+ What Could Go Wrong
+ ---
+ RDP Sharing using freerdp2 is a new feature for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS as part of
GNOME 42.
+
+ RDP Sharing can be used for providing remote support so it's important
+ that this feature works well because it may be difficult for the remote
+ admin to fix issues in person.
+
+ freerdp2 is also used by the Remmina and GNOME Connections apps as the
+ "client" app for RDP Sharing. (The GNOME feature is the "server" side.)
+
+ This fix is cherrypicked from the stable freerdp2 branch.

Hi Gary,

how do you invoke debootstrap so it uses packages from the the updates
pocket? I wasn't able to with --extra-suites=focal-updates, but I might
have missed something.

But then I guess we should actually release that fix too.

[Bug 1976547] [NEW] Update gnome-remote-desktop to 42.2

2022-06-01 Thread Jeremy Bicha
Public bug reported:

Impact
--
This is a new stable release in the GNOME 42 series

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-remote-desktop/-/blob/42.2/NEWS

Test Case #1

Install all updates. Log out and log back in.
Open the Settings app to the Sharing page. Turn on Sharing and turn on Remote
Desktop Sharing.
Turn it off then on because there may be a gnome-control-center bug with
initial enabling.

From a second computer, connect to the first computer using Remmina.

The Remote Desktop page on the first computer provides the username and
password to use. I wasn't able to get the "Remote Desktop Address" to
work (maybe avahi doesn't work well?) so just use the first computer's
IP address.

So something like:
RDP jeremy@192.168.1.1

Ensure that the connection works.

Test Case #2

Do test case #1 but this time also enable the Legacy VNC option on the Remote
Desktop Sharing page.
Connect using VNC instead and ensure that the connection works.

What Could Go Wrong
---
RDP Sharing is a new feature for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS as part of GNOME 42.
(Previously only VNC Sharing was offered.)

RDP Sharing can be used for providing remote support so it's important
that this feature works well because it may be difficult for the remote
admin to fix issues in person.

gnome-remote-desktop is part of GNOME Core and falls under the GNOME

** Package changed: ding (Ubuntu) => nautilus (Ubuntu)

+ nautilus causes gvfsd-trash 'Too many files open' error and fills syslog

** Description changed:

- My syslog is filled (to >30GB) regularly with these messages. I seem to

[Bug 1731502] Re: nmbd starts fine with no interfaces, but doesn't notify systemd that it started

2022-06-01 Thread Andreas Hasenack
This was fixed upstream via https://github.com/samba-
team/samba/commit/0e571054a61e9de69190ae023199d1670e097e88 by changing
the network dependency to network-online.target instead of just
network.target

[Bug 1969939] Re: puppet 5 package incompatible with ruby 3 / ubuntu 22.04

2022-06-01 Thread Mat Malone
Thanks Lucas. LGTM. We tried the PPA. No errors during puppet apply.
File resources, both symlinks and regular files, are being created as
expected. Our full 5kloc puppet manifest applied without any puppet
errors, and we haven't noticed any other regressions. If you have any
specific functionality you like us to double check, please let me know.

[Bug 1974235] Re: sru cloud-init (22.1-14 to 22.2) Bionic, Focal, Impish, Jammy

2022-06-01 Thread Alexander Balderson
SQA is happy to give a +1 for Bionic and Focal

we have no Juju workloads which currently run on Jammy, and only do Juju
workloads on LTS's

Bionic:
https://solutions.qa.canonical.com/testplans/testplaninstance/7792f440-db83-452a-adbe-

Focal:
https://solutions.qa.canonical.com/testplans/testplaninstance/413b8d8a-25d8-4fed-8227-593d1381a384

In both cases we used Juju to deploy a full Openstack with complex
networking and storage configuration. Everything worked as expected.

[Bug 1969901] Re: network-manager fails to renew ipv6 address

Yes, when having a look at the previously collected logs, that seems to be the
case (journalctl -u NetworkManager.service).

Some of our computers get this problem more often that other. Some
persons claim that they have never seen the problem. That is the part
that is unclear.

>In any case, I appreciate there might be difficulty in testing the fix, but
>what's the actual >criteria you propose to use to decide when the bug is to be
>marked verification-done-bionic?

In the best of worlds I would like to simulated environment where dhcp-
packages could be controlled, but that is not feasible.

I have been running this patch on two computers since 2022-04-13 and haven't
seen the problem since. One laptop (restarted every day) and one desktop that
is always on.
The desktop has been running for 29 days continuously according to syslog,
without me having to manually remove dhcp lease files and restart network
manager.

Ideas for getting confidence of this change:
We could ask more users who have experienced this error to install this change
and confirm if they experience lost ipv6 addresses after installing patched
version.

Another idea is to shutdown computer in single user mode (without network),
edit the dhcp6 lease file in a way so that dhcp-server will respond with NACK
when booting up in multi-user mode.
What to change in the lease file I do not know.

[Bug 1976498] Re: DING causes gvfsd 'Too many files open' error and fills syslog

2022-06-01 Thread Mark Smith
Further reading would suggest that it's a bug in Nautilus and the way that
gvfsd deals with trash:
https://www.reddit.com/r/gnome/comments/l0gg32/a_helpul_tip_for_those_with_gvfsdtrash_hogging/

It runs out that I don't have ding installed, and also no references to
gvfsd.

Yet, if I do as the post above says and kill the gvfsd process when it's
running it stops my root drive filling up with an enormous syslog.

How do I transfer this bug over to Nautilus?

[Bug 1976534] [NEW] /dev/ttyUSB0 doesn't appear for an FTDI on fresh Ubuntu 22.04

2022-06-01 Thread Yuri Yorick
Public bug reported:

Hi all,

This problem appeared on a freshly installed Ubuntu 22.04 desktop.

When I'm attaching a ftdi device into usb everything looks great but
there's no /dev/ttyUSB0 file. Looks like it's created and then
disappears immediately. I tried to remove brltty package (as some
recommends
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brltty/+bug/1958224) but it
didn't help.

The same ftdi device works on older Ubuntu version w/o any problems. So
hardware is ok.

I noticed this line:

Jun 1 16:58:10 qgs-comp systemd-udevd[5394]: 2-1.5: Failed to
create/update device symlink '/dev/ttyUSB0', ignoring: File exists

Why is it happening? There's no /dev/ttyUSB0 neither before nor after I
attach ftdi device to a USB port.
