[Bug 1262990] Re: Negative unread counts without rhyme or reason

2014-02-17 Thread Łukasz Fidosz
It's not just that, sometimes the messages from 'negative' count are not
showing at all in message window, you have to read them from
conversation history, which means you need history window opened on
daily basics.

[Bug 1273261] [NEW] Cryptsetup error during boot: /scripts/local-top/cryptroot: line 1: can't open /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-root: no such file

2014-01-27 Thread Łukasz Fidosz
Public bug reported:

While booting cryptsetup outputs following error: /scripts/local-
top/cryptroot: line 1: can't open /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-root: no such
file, seems to be not related to this particular installation as saw the
same output on other machines, also seems to be nothing major as
everything boots fine, so just reporting to let you know it's there.

When have any application with multiple windows opened clicking twice on
it's icon in unity panel to show opened windows list results with at
least one of that windows being invisible(when mouse cursor is over that
window it will have orange frame, like chromium window on attached

[Bug 1269068] [NEW] Plymouth freezes on ubuntu 13.10 with full disk encryption

2014-01-14 Thread Łukasz Fidosz
Public bug reported:

Hi, I have fresh install of Ubuntu 13.10 with full disk encryption
enabled, when starting just after grub Ubuntu freezing on purple screen,
after further investigation removing 'splash' from grub solved the
problem(nomodeset changes nothing).

Wanted to debug it so added plymouth:debug and drm.debug=0x4 parameters
(plymouth:debug alone wasn't working and was causing same freezes as
before) and then it looked fine - was asked for cryptsetup password by
plymouth, but wasn't able to find anything useful in either plymouth
debug log or dmesg(attaching both).

I noticed that enabling cpu's build in graphics card(so having both
nVidia and Intel enabled at the same time) making it work sometimes(but
it's very random), but it never works on nVidia only other that without
splash or with options mentioned above.
