[Bug 1824583] [NEW] gnome-calendar uses default Adwaita theme when using Yaru-Dark theme

2019-04-12 Thread Adnan Hodzic
Public bug reported:

When I set to use "Yaru-dark" theme for applications (Gnome-Tweaks >
Appearance > Themes) gnome-calendar will use default Adwaita GTK+ theme,
i.e: see attachment.

If I switch back to default Ubuntu 19.04 theme "Yaru", then gnome-
calendar will use this theme and not Adwaita.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Thanks,

Adnan

Re: [Bug 1220086] Re: Google Earth still depends on ia32-libs

2013-09-24 Thread Adnan Hodzic
That's because Google Earth does really depend on ia32-libs.

Application won't work without this dependency, theoretically there's a way
to isolate only the particular ia32-libs that are used by Google Earth. But
I'm afraid this would take too much time and effort.

Google Earth (googleearth-package) works just fine on both Sid and Jessie,
if you have any suggestion on what dependency should I make it instead of
"ia32-libs" on Ubuntu please do.

Regards,

Adnan

[Bug 336611] Re: googleearth-package does not install required deps on 64bit systems

2013-08-26 Thread Adnan Hodzic
Hello Dave,

Just recently, I finally managed to push the new version of
"googleearth-package" (1.0) into Debian Sid/Jessie, this version deals
with the problem you've described in your report above.

However, "Debian import freeze" for Saucy has already been made, and it
doesn't seem like 1.0 will make it into 13.10 release.

To not leave Ubuntu users neglected, I decided to upload the same
version for Ubuntu 12.04/12.10/13.04/13.10 to my PPA dedicated to
"googleearth-package".

Please get it, and report any other problems and bugs you might have.

https://launchpad.net/~absinthesyringe/+archive/googleearth-package

Also, please inform me if you have any other comments or questions.

Adnan

[Bug 1172904] Re: Nautilus won't start/extremely slow

2013-05-12 Thread Adnan Hodzic
Interesting note.

Even with my Nautilus settings removed, after adding (just) 2GB of files
(101785 items) to my "Templates" directory my Nautilus became unbearably
slow to a point of becoming unresponsive.

After I moved these same files to "Documents" directory Nautilus went
back to normal. I believe this was problem all along, as I would always
add same files to my "Templates" directory.

This is definitely an upstream bug as I had same problem on different
platforms and different Nautilus versions.

[Bug 1172904] Re: Nautilus won't start/extremely slow

2013-05-08 Thread Adnan Hodzic
I only found two files when looking for nautilus.

ahodzic@ebuddy:~$ find ~/ -name *nautilus*
/home/ahodzic/.local/share/nautilus
/home/ahodzic/.config/nautilus

After removing ~/.local/share/nautilus and ~/.config/nautilus my
Nautilus shows up instantly. I'll give it more time to test it on my
other machine, but it seems like this could be the actual fix.

[Bug 1172904] [NEW] Nautilus won't start/extremely slow

2013-04-25 Thread Adnan Hodzic
Public bug reported:

Hello,

Nautilus (files) won't even start on my Ubuntu 13.04. It eventually will
start up after some ~10 minutes and will just freeze.

I have this problem for some time now where Nautilus was just slow to
start or would freeze up. But now it wouldn't even start at all.

Please note that I had/have similar (if not same problem) on Debian Sid
with 3.8.x kernel. Where Nautilus would just be slow to start, and would
eventually freeze up with CPU working at 100% to process Nautilus.

How I resolved this problem on Sid is by simply moving back to 3.2.x
kernel and everything was "fine", even though Nautilus was pretty slow
most of the time.

I tried doing same thing on 13.04 where I would move from 3.8.x kernel
to 3.5.x but without any success.

I do have Dropbox (nautilus-dropbox), but nothing would improve even
after purging it or using their own package (Dropbox website). There
were no changes even after purging Nautilus and then installing it.
There would be no changes even after I would do a clean install,
basically the more files I put in my home directory the slower my
Nautilus would get.

I believe this is an upstream bug and I have a feeling it might be
related to linux kernel and its encryption (lvm). FYI, my drive is fully
encrypted.

It also might be worth noting that a *lot* of users suffer from same
problem where Nautilus was just extremely slow (http://goo.gl/gvpMY).

I believe this is an extremely important bug which should be taken care
of, if you need any additional input or logs from me please let me know.

Regards,

Adnan

What you need to do is:

1. Go to Help > Install New Software ...

4. After you clicked "Ok" re-select your ADT Plugin location again and

[Bug 613773] Re: GoogleEarth gets coordinates wrong if locale set to German or French

2010-12-29 Thread Adnan Hodzic
We also have this problem reported inside of Debian:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=556102

I'm planning to fix this problem in next version of googleearth-package.

[Bug 336611] Re: googleearth-package does not install required deps on 64bit systems

2010-12-20 Thread Adnan Hodzic
Actually it is.

I solved this problem in 0.6.1 by adding "!= i386 dependency field
generator" which is in make-googleearth-package script (line 399)

-

 # != i386 dependency field generator
  if [ "$(dpkg-architecture -qDEB_BUILD_ARCH)" != "i386" ]; then
ia32libs=", ia32-libs-gtk"
  fi

  if [ "$(dpkg-architecture -qDEB_BUILD_ARCH)" == "amd64" ]; then
nvidia32="nvidia-glx-ia32"
  fi

-

Adding ia32-libs to debian/control as dependency has nothing to do with
Google Earth, but rather the package that builds that builds its
package. But once you start make-googleearth-package ia32libs are added
as a dependency for that package if you're on amd64 arch.

ia32-libs is one of the dependencies, are you saying this package is not
installed as part of the package dependencies?

[Bug 326477] Re: Eclipse continually freezing on 64-bit for some seconds

2010-11-06 Thread Adnan Hodzic
@Asraniel, please use Eclipse from official Ubuntu repositories. This
is the actual "official" version of Eclipse tailored to work on Ubuntu
so you don't have problems you're apparently having right.

In case you're still encountering same problem, please report back with
output of "lsb_release -c" and "java -version"

[Bug 571530] Re: gpg: using subkey foo instead of primary key bar; skipped public key not found

2010-05-08 Thread Adnan Hodzic
I have the same problem, tried numerous options, saw a same problem in
RedHat which was solved by changing Evolution security to
http://foolcontrol.org/img/evolution%20security.png but it didn't work
out for me.

Same thing goes for setting key to various trust levels, still same
problem.

[Bug 575559] Re: Laptop overheats and suddenly shuts down/off using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx

2010-05-05 Thread Adnan Hodzic
Had some problem on my Thinkpad X300, first on Debian Sid couple of
weeks ago and now on Lucid.

However, I just updated to 2.6.32-22 and everything seems to be working
great, it may be too early to claim anything but so far everything is
back to normal.
