(1) There are a few packages in the UbuntuGIS PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntugis/+archive/ubuntugis-unstable (including
MapServer 5.4.0 for Jaunty)

(2) In fact, you can test any MapServer installation with any mapserver
application (mapfile with data). A tutorial could surely be found on
www.mapserver.org

If you test the current UbuntuGIS packages, thanks to let me know your
feedback or any bug.

Alan

Re: [Bug 324373] [NEW] Please sync from debian 5.2.1-1

2009-02-02 Thread Alan Boudreault
FYI, I think i'll wait a week or so. MapServer 5.2.2 is supposed to be
released soon. Once it's released, i'll modify the debian package for
DebianGIS and make the ubuntuGIS one.

Regards,
Alan

Re: [Bug 324373] [NEW] Please sync from debian 5.2.1-1

2009-02-02 Thread Alan Boudreault
Sorry, i thought that this bug was a ubuntuGIS bug. My packages will
be in the ubuntuGIS PPA, not in ubuntu repository. The ubuntu
repository are always synchronized with Debian unstable, and mapserver
5.2.1 is still in debian experimental.
