[Bug 348432] Re: Jaunty - after upgrade from 8.10, no window decorator at login
I also see this (in an upgrade from Intrepid to Jaunty). I tried removing all compiz packages, removing the .compiz folder, and then reinstalling compiz, but there was no change. Regardless of whether I turn compiz on or off (via Preferences -> Appearance -> Visual Effects), I have the same problem: GDM starts without a window decorator. -- Jaunty - after upgrade from 8.10, no window decorator at login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348432 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 102514] Can't eject external USB hard drive
Public bug reported: I have an external USB hard drive with two partitions. One is ReiserFS and one is HFS+ . When I plug in the USB cable, both partitions correctly automount. Now, when I right click and select eject on either volume, I get an error message 'cannot eject volume' and both drives disappear from my desktop, then immediately reappear and open automatically. [Bug 91473] Deskbar search results span multiple screens with Twinview
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: deskbar-applet Using Deskbar 2.16.0 under ubuntu, with an Nvidia card with multiple monitors and twinview enabled; the search results display incorrectly. The results list spans both monitors when twinview is enabled and the monitors are set up in a vertical configuration. When the two monitor resolutions vary, part of the results list cannot be seen. It would be simpler; and solve the problem, if the results list could be constrained to only appear on one monitor, and not span both of them. ** Affects: deskbar-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Deskbar search results span multiple screens with Twinview https://launchpad.net/bugs/91473 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
