As a patch, is there way that the "r" command could be automatically issued at the end of the boot sequence? I briefly tried to get that to work, but didn't have any luck. Another lazy way around this is to do Alt-F2, then type in R. Might be easier than creating a folder then deleting it. One other thing that I've noticed is that the mouse pointer gets really laggy and sort of spastic when it passes over an open window. Public bug reported: After installing the latest update, my mouse started misbehaving. It stops working after a short period of time. I unplug the usb plug and plug back in and the mouse will sometimes work for a few minutes, sometimes not at all.
