[Bug 722198] Re: installation hangs on 15reuse w/ blank disk
Hmm, I think I've found what triggers the bug--partman only freezes if there's unpartitioned space (I had around 280 GB reserved for a Windows 7 partition). After formatting the empty space as NTFS with GParted, I was able to continue with the installation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/722198 Title: installation hangs on 15reuse w/ blank disk -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 391239] [NEW] Totem sets the GNOME global volume when changing volume and mutes volume between videos
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem In Totem in Ubuntu Karmic, I'm seeing some strange behavior. When changing the volume in Totem, it changes the master GNOME volume, but ignores the linked LFE channel, which causes sound distortions. It shouldn't even be changing the GNOME volume when I change the Totem volume, a regression from Jaunty. Also, when switching between videos, Totem proceeds to mute the volume before starting the next video, again a regression from Jaunty. [Bug 325086] [NEW] Mixer applet doesn't respect the setting for which channels to control
Public bug reported: In my just-installed Jaunty (all packages up to date as per apt-get), the new volume control applet doesn't respect the setting for which channels it should control--I have a master and LFE, and I'd like it to control both of them with the multimedia keys, but only master's volume changes when I use the multimedia keys (observed behavior via alsamixer). [Bug 126008] X won't start on ATI card without fglrx
