[Bug 1825754] Re: Popping in headphones when no sound is playing after upgrade to ubuntu 19.04
I had already downgraded and couldn't try the suggested workaround from #15. I've upgraded to disco again and the popping is still there, but the workaround quiets it. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1825754 Title: Popping in headphones when no sound is playing after upgrade to ubuntu 19.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1825754/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1283580] Re: Unable to switch between users, system hangs on logout
** Description changed: Using Ubuntu 13.10, Unity, lightdm, nVidia drivers. I added a second user account, after the first time switching between users, user switching just stopped working. For a while I could log out of one user, then log in as another but now that isn't working either. Selecting logout from the menu will bring up the little logout or shutdown thing, then after I select logout nothing seems to happen. If the screen is locked and I push the switch user button, it looks like it tries to go back to the login screen, but ends up coming back to the lock screen. For a while I could log out of one user, then log in as another but now that isn't working either. Selecting logout from the menu will bring up the little logout or shutdown thing, then after I select logout nothing seems to happen. If I open a terminal and type gnome-session-quit it says something about how its not in a running state. I currently have to restart the computer to switch users, which is really frustrating. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1283580 Title: Unable to switch between users, system hangs on logout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1283580/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 596661] Re: In gnome-exe-thumbnailer the wine icon is too big and the exe icon is too small
I don't think it is true that _most_ icons cases are missing a 48x48 icon. In your showcase, 8/11 with icons have 48px icons. I think it is actually the reverse, that most apps released after Windows XP (ten years ago) do have 48x48 icons. Anyway, the point of an icon is to identify the program very quickly, so that you can look through the files in a folder and find the executable you want to run. Also, I like having the version number there, but showing on top of the icon makes it even harder to use the icon for its purpose. I think the actual icon should be the largest, stretched if necessary, and the wine icon small and at the top right, and the version number where it is. At least an option for that, please. In the few folders of windows apps, I don't care if it is ugly, as long as it is easier to use. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/596661 Title: In gnome-exe-thumbnailer the wine icon is too big and the exe icon is too small -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
