[Bug 1224732] Re: Custom keyboard shortcuts don't work
The solution suggested by gazhai (#52) worked for me, too. I have Ubuntu 14.04.2 Classic. The only problem is tat every time I add a keyboard shortcut I have to logout and login to get it working. Is there an application that could do the same thing as logout-login? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1224732 Title: Custom keyboard shortcuts don't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-control-center/+bug/1224732/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 352732] Re: Sound muted after boot

[Bug 257475] Re: Dell Inspiron 8000 split screen with ATI Mobility 4 display adapter
I also had a split screen in my Dell Inspiron 8000 when installed Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric. After a lot of net reading and experimentation, I found the following simple solution. I created a new xorg.conf file in the directory /etc/X11. The file contains only the following lines Section Device Identifier Card0 Driver vesa EndSection As some other posts indicated, you have to change the graphic card driver. However, it was difficult to figure out how to do it correctly in the new Ubuntu that originally has no xorg.conf file. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/257475 Title: Dell Inspiron 8000 split screen with ATI Mobility 4 display adapter To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-r128/+bug/257475/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 562027] Re: [ooo-build] OOo QuickStarter: unable to shutdown / reboot / logout when quickstarter is active
Panticz' fix worked also for me.
