[Bug 1005144] [NEW] Windows opening in wrong monitor (dual monitor setup)
Public bug reported: When launching any system configuration applications from the Unity Panel (press windows / command key) the resulting window opens on the second monitor rather than the primary one. [Bug 367724] Re: firefox does not open archive manager for tgz files
If you tried the same file on a different server and had no problems, nor had any problems with any other files from elsewhere, I can only assume this is not a firefox 3.0.10 issue. The fact it can't be replicated other than on the specific server/moodle installation you are using backs this theory up. If you give me the details of the moodle installation you have (version number, apache, php versions etc) I'll download and install it on my server and see if I can replicate, then we can move from there. -- firefox does not open archive manager for tgz files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367724 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 367724] Re: firefox does not open archive manager for tgz files
I tried to replicate this in the latest version of Firefox (3.0.10) but couldn't. [Bug 367142] Re: ubuntu 9.04 upgrade errors
Found a work around: sudo aptitude update -o Acquire::http::No-Cache=True Explanation: This has been an issue for several users in the past, by the looks of things it only _sometimes_ affects people when they are behind some kind of proxy or are subject to some sort of ISP level caching. [Bug 209454] Re: SATA not recognized by Hardy
This problem was recently discussed on IRC. We discovered a workaround, when installing add pci=nomsi as a kernal parameter. Once installed add the same parameter to the kernal from grub, this will enable you to boot, you can then add the same parameter to your menu.lst in the /etc/grub folder to make it permanent. This worked on Hardy. Ok sounds good. I've currently got a few things on the go at once right now so if no one else takes an interest in packaging this app I'll start work on it when I can (probaby before the end of the month) and submit it for consideration into the Intrepid repositories. -- [needs-packaging] Smartcam https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259371 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 283961] Re: Firefox address bar and "undo close tab" problem
Someone on IRC had a pretty similar problem to you today. Eventually we found out it was a corrupt/damaged user profile. rm -rf .mozilla/frirefox deleted all the profiles under the users account and forced firefox to make a fresh profile, this fixed the problem. You mentioned new user profiles don't have the same problem. To me that suggests it's deffinatly a borked profile. If you decide to rm the damaged profile and it work's, make sure you tell us about it on here so I can close the bug. Note: Deleteing the profile will cause you to lose any specific configuration and bookmarks etc. -- Firefox address bar and "undo close tab" problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/283961 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 259371] Re: [needs-packaging] Smartcam
This software appears to conform to the Ubuntu new package standards now that the license has been added. I'll happily package this software, my only reservation is the fact I have no means of testing it as I don't own a nokia, as long as that is noted I don't mind starting on this at the end of the month. -- [needs-packaging] Smartcam https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259371 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 272210] Re: Megatunix needs to be packaged and added to the repository.
Contacted upstream in regards to the current state of the user documentation for inclusion in the man pages, so far upstream has been unresponsive. Seeing as we are in feature freeze at the moment I don't see any problem in allowing upstream more time to respond before putting the final touches to this package, therefore this package will not be finished this weekend, Like I said though, we are in feature freeze so it doesn't really make a difference. -- Megatunix needs to be packaged and added to the repository. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272210 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
