[Bug 1604146] [NEW] Rsibreak does not save welcome message skip checkbox [solution]
Public bug reported: Hello! Recently I had very annoying bug with rsibreak: welcome message that shown on first run and have "do not show again" check-box appeared every time and check-box state wasn't saved in config file. I have contacted developer on bugs.kde.org (Albert Astals Cid) and after long search we have found root cause for this issue: package does not have required dependency in dependency list (frameworkintegration package). Can you please add this package (frameworkintegration) to rsibreak dependencies ? P.S. This bug affects at least two Ubuntu versions: 14.04 LTS and 16.04 LTS (tested on 2 different computers with all updates installed). [Bug 1317449]
First I tried to update some single packages in synaptic as also described in some comments. In the end I made a mistake and practically my complete GUI was deinstalled. At best I am a script kid... After a new install of ubuntu 14.04, the problem was still comparable. Now I tried the ppa made by Matthias Andree (Comment 119). This worked very well for me too. Digikam is now stable! [Bug 199687] Re: [Intrepid] [Hardy] Asus F5N laptop freezes on restart but will shut down
as i wrote earlier if the system is not in the built in sata disk and the disk removed, the system reboots. i found, the problem is when the sata disk handled by the ahci driver. if the sata disk handled by the ata_generic driver, the system reboots. so if the system loads ata_generic before ahci. the all_generic_ide=1 parameter important. i resolve the problem in this way: # echo ata_generic all_generic_ide=1 >> /etc/initramfs-tools/modules # update-initramfs -u i use lenny but maybe it helps -- [Intrepid] [Hardy] Asus F5N laptop freezes on restart but will shut down https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/199687 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
