[Bug 1450804] [NEW] mate-notification-daemon high CPU use
Public bug reported: The CPU monitor will spike and mate-notification-daemon is the culprit. This usually occurs when I awake from suspend, connect or disconnect from a network, connect or disconnect my bluetooth mouse, etc. I have to go in and kill the process to get the CPU down to normal range. Normally, I get a notification that X is connected / disconnected, etc. The notification never comes and the CPU spikes. I expect the notification without the high CPU spike. This is my first bug report that I remember and I'll certainly be happy to give any information I can. Ubuntu MATE 15.04 64 Bit I'm sporting a Lenovo Yoga 2 11 4 GB RAM, Intel Pentium 2.16 Ghz quad core Kernel 3.19 mate-notification-daemon version: 1.8.2-1 ** Affects: mate-notification-daemon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1450804 Title: mate-notification-daemon high CPU use To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mate-notification-daemon/+bug/1450804/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 545096] Re: [lucid][R500 X1400] intermitent screen corruption (pink world ) - regression from -20 to -21 kernel
I think I found out in detail how to fix the slow FPS and the flickering. sudo gedit /etc/default/grub Edit this line to look exactly like this GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=quiet splash radeon.modeset=1 Save and close then run sudo update-grub Restart and pray. [Bug 545096] Re: [lucid][R500 X1400] intermitent screen corruption (pink world ) - regression from -20 to -21 kernel
I am having the same exact issues. When playing enemy territory on 9.10, I got 70+ FPS using an X1400, now I'm lucky to get 15 FPS. -- [lucid][R500 X1400] intermitent screen corruption (pink world ) - regression from -20 to -21 kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/545096 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 262974] Re: [MASTER] networkmanager display connections twice in intrepid
I know how to duplicate it. It happens only when I use Synaptic to add or remove a program, particularly VirtualBox OSE. I read that you can black list something, but it caused Ubuntu to not even detect wireless networks.
