[Bug 1112568] Re: lynx -dump fails if filename is not *.html
Thanks for the tip, Thomas. I still find the behavior confusing; i.e. that the name is important rather than the content. -dump dumps the formatted output of the default document implies the document is HTML, does not mention other possible interpretations or file formats, and does not mention -force_html or the *.html convention or why there is a need for -force_html. [Bug 1034594] [NEW] zenity --question --timeout returns 5 when click yes
Public bug reported: The man page says: For example, zenity --question will return either 0, 1 or 5, depending on whether the user pressed OK, Cancel or timeout has been reached. zenity --entry will output on standard output what the user typed into the text entry field. however, for the following $ zenity --question --title=Title --text=Click yes --timeout=6 $ echo $? 5 one can see that zenity returns 5 instead of 0 if you click the Yes (OK) button. I used gnome-tweak-tool to set my window and GTK theme to GnomishDark Now Ubuntu Software Center appears with light text and a light foreground. See the attached screenshot. It appears to take the text foreground color from the GTK theme, but ignored the theme background color. [Bug 824514] Re: add feature: open gnome-rdp session via command line
OK. I have also jused rdesktop directly, since it's simpler and does what I want (I don't need all the chrome that remmina provides) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/824514 Title: add feature: open gnome-rdp session via command line To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-rdp/+bug/824514/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 824514] [NEW] add feature: open gnome-rdp session via command line
Public bug reported: gnome-rdp should have a way to open a named connection via the command line (like remmina -c file.remmina does, etc.). This will allow adding shortcuts to command scripts, the Ubuntu start menu, keyboard hot keys, etc. I.e. if I have a rdp connection named MyLaptop then I should be able to run gnome-rdp --connect MyLaptop or something similar. ** Affects: gnome-rdp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/824514 Title: add feature: open gnome-rdp session via command line To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-rdp/+bug/824514/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 824587] [NEW] dialog with X errors pops up upon closing rdp session
Public bug reported: I added a RDP connection to a Windows 7 laptop. Works great. When I close the rdesktop gnome-rdp pops up a dialog with some X errors. NOT IMPLEMENTED: System pointer message 0x7f00 X Error of failed request: BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter) Major opcode of failed request: 23 (X_GetSelectionOwner) Atom id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 4882 Current serial number in output stream: 4882 I don't care about these; they are meaningless to me, and I have to take an extra step to dismiss the dialog. ** Affects: gnome-rdp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/824587 Title: dialog with X errors pops up upon closing rdp session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-rdp/+bug/824587/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 454215] Re: wmctrl doesn't adjust position of terminal windows in Hardy
@ralemi when I run your script in a terminal, it does not snap left or right. instead, it resizes the window to take up the entire monitor. I have dual monitors - it will resize to the size of a maximized app on the left monitor (but the icon is still that of a normal window - i.e. not maximized - as it it is doing -b add,maximized_vert -b add,maximized_horz). When I use snap.sh -r it maximizes the window (both horizontal and vertical) on my right monitor. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/454215 Title: wmctrl doesn't adjust position of terminal windows in Hardy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wmctrl/+bug/454215/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 454215] Re: wmctrl doesn't adjust position of terminal windows in Hardy
In Ubuntu 10.10 wmctrl (1.07) moves terminal windows fine for me. However, there are other windows that wmctrl can't move/resize as I want. For example, I have my X display spread across dual 1600x1200 monitors for an effective 3200x1200 desktop wmctrl -r 'Google Chrome' -e 0,1200,0,1000,1000 will move the window to 1600 instead of 1200, although the same geometry works for a terminal window: wmctrl -r :ACTIVE: -e 0,1200,0,1000,1000 My window manager is compiz but I have the same issue if I run metacity. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/454215 Title: wmctrl doesn't adjust position of terminal windows in Hardy -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 746906] [NEW] [Realtek ALC1200] Playback problem - no audio playing dvr-ms files
