[Bug 220443] Re: Window decoration disappears with firefox
Yeah, I can confirm too that the workaround suggested by Nosrevelk works very good. Maybe the compiz team should work on the function that the workaround disable... -- Window decoration disappears with firefox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220443 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 220443] Re: No Close or Restore Icon
found a little workaround for those who are interested: - Close FF - Open a terminal and write: metacity --replace - Reopen FF - in terminal: compiz --replace - close terminal This often works for me, i hope so for you. -- No Close or Restore Icon https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220443 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 223043] Re: Firefox does not render text properly (maybe javascript problem)
Now everything looks fine and clear, maybe was a problem with the gnash plugin for firefox. I've reinstalled Hardy using the final version instead of the RC and installed the non free plugin for flashplayer and now everything works fine. I'm sorry i haven't posted it before, but i forgot do it :P Bye bye -- Firefox does not render text properly (maybe javascript problem) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223043 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 223043] [NEW] Firefox does not render text properly (maybe javascript problem)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 Hi there, i found this problem using Firefox 3 beta 5 on Hardy Heron RC, browsing my site statistics at www.histats.com/it/ Approximately all text is not shown, some variables have improbably value and some others are corrupted too. To make things clear, i post you some screenshot so you can see the difference between the rendering in FF2 and FF3. On the top of the screenshot, u can see how Firefox3 beta 5 on Hardy Heron render the page and on the bottom part how Win XP (but Gusty render it identically) render the same page. Put attention on the missing text, on the wrong colours and on the values on the variables listed on the left column of the graph. Thanks for the attention and bye bye, Domo ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Apr 27 14:11:27 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: firefox-3.0 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: firefox-3.0 Uname: Linux 2.6.24-16-generic i686 ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- Firefox does not render text properly (maybe javascript problem) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223043 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 220443] Re: No Close or Restore Icon
Hi there, i have the same problem too. I use Hardy RC (not upgraded from 7.10 but installed on a new partition), compiz enabled on a ATI x1950pro (with Restrictd Drivers in use). Looking at the image posted by SteveLW u can see that either the menu bar and the opened apps bar are disappeared too. -- No Close or Restore Icon https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220443 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
