[Bug 158035] Re: fonts are not in the same format after the last update of ooo

2007-10-29 Thread Ernst Meist
Thanks for Your answer, I installed 7.10 on a computer saturday and had the
same problem. Looking for my files, I found that only documents are disturbed,
that originally are written in MS-Word 2.0 to 7.0/2000. Later on I had no MS
OS. Therefore all these documents I converted to *sxd in 2004 I think. Since I
installed Ubuntu 6.10 I saved all files when I changed them to *.odt.
In the attachment is a file, I describe. The original length is 7 sides and now
there
are 8.
With best regards
Ernst Meist

[Bug 158035] fonts are not in the same format after the last update of ooo

2007-10-28 Thread Ernst Meist
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Ladies and Gentlemen,
after the last update of OpenOffice in my Ubuntu 7.04 I got a mistake in every
file , I created in Open Office. The failure was the same on 3 computers. The
signs are formatted in the same font and seize, but all documents are much
longer. E.g. a broshure of 40 sides has now 51. Short documents like labels
lost the stand of CR and pictures included. I tried to find out how I can
repair it, but I found no workaround. In the FAQ on Ubuntu and OpenOffice I
find no hint to such behavior of the programm. I tried to google with no
success.
Please, can You tell me what happened? I work about 5 years with OpenOffice and
never had a problem like this. There are about 500 documents touched. For Your
information, I always use Nimbus roman 09 and Nimbus sans for my text.
Sincerely Yours
Ernst Meist

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
