I am also back to 32bit on an old computer but this is because the 64bit-machine died. As I have the same surfing-habit as I had on the faster, better equipped machine I can say: No problems on 32bit side, no more "stuck" videos or jerking when refreshing the buffer (less RAM, slower CPU, 8 MB graphic card instead of 256). -- Npviewer randomly freezes while surfing sites like youtube https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158126 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

The 64bit-version is why I fully switched to Ubuntu, but the Flashplayer-problem is/was very annoying as I am working on several websites which use Flash-videos. I'm now back to 32bit on an older computer as the 64bit-machine died. It feels a little bit "quicker" (smoother) for me, don't know why. But maybe it's just because I know the computer is slower? -- Npviewer randomly freezes while surfing sites like youtube https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158126 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release:8.04 Did a Distribution-Upgrade from 7.1 to 8.04 via the routine in the "System"-menu.
