[Bug 159954] Re: No icon available
stock_sound is the icon which is refered to in the packed desktop file. The problem is that when I install paman on my system it has no icon in the menu. I use paman 0.9.3-1build2 in Gutsy and when I download the source I also get the desktop file with audio-card, but when I read the patch I see: -Icon=audio-card +Icon=stock_sound So when I installed I get a dektop file with a stock_sound icon which does not exist (audio-card and gnome-audio indeed exist both in gnome-icon-theme), so I guess the patch should be: -Icon=audio-card +Icon=gnome-audio and replace all stock_sound with gnome-audio but because gnome-audio is not in scalable I think that the original audio-card icon is also good or even better (?). I saw that on my system there is also no gtk-jump-to icon but there is the replaced go-jump icon, so the patch is rather useless (?) So maybe it is better to delete the 01_use_stock_g2.14_icons.dpatch file? BTW: Thanks for taking the time for such a minor bug, I am not very experienced with patches and build processes, but I should have reported this bug with more information.. -- No icon available https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159954 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 156582] Lilo looks as a step back
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: lilo As Lilo seems to be the standard bootloader for 7.10 (Just did a fresh install) I want to speak my concern about the look of it. As Ubuntu positions itself as linux for Human beings and in my opinion that means it has to look good. I found understanding things which in my opinion are not compatible with the way Ubuntu wants to profile itself. Lilo doesn't load ubuntu with a splash screen, witch means you see all those code running through your screen. I saw that Lilo has the Debian menuscreens, but no Ubuntu menuscreen. [Bug 125493] Re: [Wishlist] Support for Lighttpd
I should make myself more clear; When installing phpmyadmin on Lighttpd it goes fine, though it gives a error message for selecting Apache2 (or any of the other options I guess). Therefor it would be very nice (as a first solution) to add an extra option in the selections: other httpd. In my case I would be extremely happy to see that Lighttpd would be included in the selectionoptions. As far as I could see it need a configuration of the lighttpd.conf file (adding /phpmyadmin/ = /usr/share/phpmyadmin in the alias.url section).
