I followed all the steps, but there are no files in the directory /var/crash. Em Qua, 2011-06-15 às 19:56 +, Christopher M. Penalver escreveu: Fsolda, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is missing. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 779502] [NEW] Nvidia proprietary driver has problems with fine tuning in full resolution
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nvidia-common I don't know if this is the best place for reporting the bug, since it's a proprietary driver. If so, please tell me where I can report this. Re: [Bug 609938] Re: fglrx fails build on 2.6.35-10-generic
Do you know if will be there a new version of this driver in the final version of Ubuntu Maverick? Em Qua, 2010-09-15 às 21:59 +, Felix Kuehling escreveu: This happens every time Ubuntu updates their kernel and/or Xorg version and leaves the old fglrx driver in place that was never designed to work with those new X.org and kernel versions. Maybe one way to save users this kind of trouble in the future would be to add versioned dependencies to fglrx to make it conflict with kernel or X.org versions newer than what was in the last stable Ubuntu release. This way, if a user explicitly or implicitly updates their X.org or kernel to a new major version, they'd be forced to uninstall fglrx first. -- fglrx fails build on 2.6.35-10-generic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609938 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 566123] Re: gtk-qt theme engine has problem displaying the foreground selected color in menu
Well... the colorscheme specified on the KDE system settings was also without effect, and this bug was affecting the GTK apps. By the way... I could solve the problem by setting the widget style in the menu GTK Appearance, in the KDE System Settings, instead of doing it manually in the file .gtkrc-2.0-kde4, which apparently changed the specification between this and the last version of KDE. [Bug 566123] [NEW] gtk-qt theme engine has problem displaying the foreground selected color in menu
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kcm-gtk The bug was found in Kubuntu Lucid Beta 2: when we start an application, the items in the menubar in any application (for example: Dolphin), as well as the checkboxes and radiobuttons, display the text color in black, even if another color is specified by the user for displaying in the foreground - for example: white. This problem disappears when we open the gtkrc file correspondent of the specified theme in Kate (as root) and simply click the save button, then the color is correctly shown in the apps which are opened after this. ** Affects: kcm-gtk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gtk-qt theme engine has problem displaying the foreground selected color in menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566123 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 566135] [NEW] Aurorae theme engine is unstable
Public bug reported: In Kubuntu Lucid Beta 2, when we are using the Aurorae Theme Engine, when we switch between applications, in some times the focused application is shown as inactive; only when maximizing or restoring the window it's correctly shown. This is a bug difficult to reproduce because sometimes it happens, sometimes no. Moreover, in this same situation some themes there are a gray bar shown in the bottom of the window, which disappears when switching the apps in the taskbar. These bug was not verified in the Launchpad KDE 4.4 Karmic release, in which the Aurorae Engine was stable. This is a problem concerning only the Lucid release of KDE 4.4. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Aurorae theme engine is unstable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566135 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I'm sending the screenshots. Please, note that the bug affects only the Lucid Beta 2 release of KDE SC 4.4, this bug doesn't occur in the Karmic release (on the repositoires ppa.launchpad.net).
